100 Monkeys Eclipse Soundtrack Contenders?

As most of you already know 100 Monkey’s band member Jackson Rathbone plays Eclipse Vampire Hottie Jasper Hale. In a recent interview with MTV he was asked if 100 Monkeys would contribute to the Eclipse Soundtrack -

Fellow vampire Jackson Rathbone has a band as well, 100 Monkeys, who were recently announced to be creating the soundtrack for his indie film “Girlfriend.” Not to be outdone by Pattinson, Rathbone shared with us that his group would also submit songs for potential inclusion on the “Eclipse” soundtrack.”It’s been talked about, but it’s one of those things,” Rathbone said when asked if he had been approached to have songs on the previous soundtracks. “We’re going to be kind of giving some of our songs off of our upcoming album for them to see if they want to put on ‘Eclipse.’ “

They should totally put some of Jackson's music in Eclipse! For the fight training scenes they can do this thing that's like the baseball scene in Twilight, and use 100 Monkey's music. I can see that in my head, so why not?

That would be awesome–Rob, Kristen, Jackson and the band–all on the Eclipse soundtrack. Now that definitely would be a great soundtrack! I'm waiting for the Edward to Bella love song. (like in the book) A Jasper love song to Alice wouldn't be bad either…or a war ballad?

I'm hoping for them to be a part of the Breaking Dawn soundtrack, too. I especially want Rob to do a lullaby for Renesmee. I wonder if Taylor can sing?

Since we are talking music hear I will tell you all that just got back from seeing “Where the Wild Things are” (great movie, by the way). I was surprised to see at the end that Carter Burwell (who wrote the Twilight soundtrack) also wrote the “Where the Wild Things Are” soundtrack. He did a great job. The music in this movie was a big part of it and it totally made the movie.

I reccomend both the movie and the soundtrack. Kids will like it, too.

A romantic montage set to music? Okay. If Breaking Dawn is made into two movies they will have time to fit this in. Hmm…scene with Edward at the piano with Bella, another of Rob sitting cross-legged on the bed singing to baby Renesmee as she is falling asleeo in her bed, romantic montage in the cottage amid the passion…

Jackson as Jasper singing to Alice as she worries about her visions, or lack of direction in them…musical possibilities are almost limitless for Breaking Dawn. Maybe they do need two movies…
