Thanks. I put LA in a little bit ago and I'm just now remembering how much I LOVE this movie. Crazy, erratic Rob = the best. And we're reviewing Dadaism and surrealism in one of my classes right now so I feel slightly less guilty about neglecting my homework. The guitar in the background of this film kind of sounds like Twilight. And dude… the scene where Dali's just shaved his head, smeared in paint and laughing maniacally in front of his canvas… oh my god. Rob is incredible.

This movie is so sad. I need some self-deprecating-Rob comments to cheer up.

I totally want Rob to have a GREAT long lasting career as well. I will see RM. I want it to succeed. I'll just be having flashbacks the whole time. OR on the other hand, it might be good. Maybe he'll be SO different than Edward that I won't see it at all. We'll see. We'll have to check in with each other LTM to see how we did.

On the flip side…all I see when watching Emilie is Clare on Lost. So there you go. Issues. Right here. *points at my dysfunctional brain*

even thought it would be. I cried and I laughed. I thought Javiar Beltran
and Rob did a fantastic job in the movie. I really felt for the

Yeah, I like that the focus of the story is the relationship between Dali and Lorca. I thought Javier Beltran and Rob did a fantastic job, too.
It's pretty heartbreaking. Especially that final sequence showing Lorca's execution for being 'subversive' edited in with Dali mourning with all of that gray paint.

I'm kind of puzzled as to how they decided on Rob to play Dali, though I don't mean to complain because I think he went above and beyond with it. I love how he portrayed Dali's eccentricity. I came away from it feeling like Dali was continually trying to ignore his loneliness and it was really sad.
