SECURITY!!! Lol
Yes apparently I need to play the lotto – I've never had such a streak before in my life!!!
lol there's no help coming >: D Save a wolf pack post for me pwease??
Done!
Those wolves are adorable!! It's been a childhood dream of mine to see them in real life! Look at that howl! It's beautiful! It's sad and disgusting that people still hunt and kill this amazing animal.
Thanks! Billy Burke is on tv right now…i find it weird Twilight actors always pop up on my tv when i'm on this site. Then again im ALWAYS on this site so it's bound to happen. That's the 3rd time in the last 4 days tho!
Lol. It's weird, when I see them on tv, this goofy grin spreads across my face . . .
I already know there's no hope for me : )
Was he on a talk show or series??
Some scary movie. Jackson was on Criminal Minds last night and LifeTime channel played Nikki Reed's movie Mini's First the other day!
Must be a marketing thing . . . they know we want to see our cast.
Smart!
Freakin poachers! I HATE THEM! How could they possibly kill such sweet, adorable animals?! I'm going to defenders.org/twilight right now, to see what I can do to help. I think everybody should.
Did you guys hear that they killed the last female rhino in South Africa?? (Well, some park in South Africa.) FOR HER HORN! Those poachers digust me. You can check out the article.

This is very cool — I've been a Defenders supporter for a long time. I was hoping they would get Kristen involved after she tussled with David Letterman about hunting wolves from planes! Well done Alex!
Listen, folks…I love him, but live in an area that has tons of wolves – that have ripped hands off children, and eaten livestock…I don't think the hollywood class uses logic when supporting some of these causes. Pisses me off.
I have plenty of both wolves and coyotes in my area too. A massive one chased my aunt into her garage. At night I can hear them howling outside. I see them walking around the golf course sometimes and in my backyard, but no one here has ever been attacked. Some animals have beens attacked which breaks my heart, but that is the fault of their disgustingly irresponsible owners who simply left their dogs/cats outside alone. Do I blame the wolves? Of course not! I blame the people who were so arrogant and stupid as to build a golf course and housing development on land that had been nothing but wildlife for hundreds of years and assumed that if they developed it all of that wildlife would just disappear and no one would ever see it again. THAT is what pisses ME off, not the wolves and those who support keeping them from being killed into extinction. Wolves are endangered species so there's no way you have “tons” of them in your area. You have one pack maybe two maximum. You may however have coyotes in your area as well like we do here.
YAY for Defenders! I've been supporting them for a long time too! That's why I sent the story in as soon as I got my weekly newsletter and saw Alex had joined. Actress Ashley Judd is also a big supporter, but its so great to have someone else with the kind of notoriety that the Twi-cast has helping out too. I missed that Letterman interview! Did she really argue with him about the aerial hunting? That's sofaking awesome! Makes me love her even more which I would never have thought possible! Now if we could only get Kristen involved with Defenders too… I've GOT to see that Letterman interview! Oh and well done Alex indeed!
Oh yes, you should really look up the interview. Letterman was particularly bitchy, then he started after her about her wolf-dogs and it just went downhill from there. She was really pushing back on him about the aerial hunting though. I was very impressed! Not surprised, but impressed.
My understanding is that Defenders has a fund that will pay any rancher who can prove s/he lost livestock to a wolf. I've never heard of a wild wolf ripping a hand off a child; that would definitely be tragic.
We have wolves where I live, but the worst I've ever heard of is a wolf attacking someones cat… never any kids. On the other had an issue with moutain lions/ bobcats attacking runners and hikers, so theres a lot worse out thter than wolves. But people are going onto these animal's land, if you're afraid of them, don't live in an area populated by them. I know when my town found the moutain lion they ended up tranquilizing it and bringing it furtur into the moutains. We've also had a few bears wander into our town, but all they usually do is make a mess going through everyones garbage. The same thing happens to them.
