Anna Kendrick (aka Jessica Stanley) is featured in Life magazine’s 2010 Oscar hopefuls.

A revelation as a motormouthed high-school debater in the little-seen Rocket Science and fine as Bella’s best friend in Twilight, Kendrick comes fully into her own onscreen as corporate stooge Natalie Keener. She’s every aging worker’s nightmare: a prim, young, impersonal innovator happy to please her bosses by making hordes of workers redundant. But instead of playing Natalie as a harpy, Kendrick makes her vulnerable. She shouldn’t be unemployed as an actress anytime soon. (For Your Consideration: Best Supporting Actress)

Anna was brilliant in Up in the Air. The Oscar nominations have not been announced yet.

and speaking of awards this weekend Golden Globes it comes here in California at 5p.m. and ends at 8p.m. so I will be front and center watching:) I am soglad Taylor is there too so that he can be there as a supporter of Anna I have zero as to wether or not anybody else from the cast will be there I am venturing to guess that they are all probably on a set some where fliming but I am sure they are thinking about her:)

Agree, she looks great! You don't get to see it much in the Twilight movies, but she's really quite pretty. When she appeared on Letterman in that super short dress she looked amazing!!!

I tried to get a picture of my dog with my favourite Twi book (eclipse) but he kept snorting at me and backing up like it was diseased..

I'm so glad that all the critics are raving over Anna, cause they totally should be!

She was amazing in Up in the Air!!! The film wouldn't have been nearly as good with someone else in the role.

Very happy that no one's writing her off as “just a Twilight actor” or something.

p.s. Our own lovely Jaypat is an extra in Up in the Air, and if you look reaaaaaally closely, you can see her in the film!

well(shamelessly) okay yes I did have a thing for Mel Gibson two reasons why I dislike him one when he was arrested for DUI and was in the police station this female decetive looked at him like oh my god thats Mel Gibson and he looks at her a and says(this is true) what are you looking at sugar t**s and also that jerk flat out denied on the Jimmy Kimmbel show saying he did'nt saying what he said to that decetive with his pathetic face hanging out and was laughing at his DUI thing and I will say this it is not funny to laugh or joke about something serious as a DUI he has totally lost my respect as a human being and to change the subject wow so youwere in services huh so was my father he was too he retired as a Lt. Colonal(sp) in the Army:)
