Thanks for saying this, CF. I wrote this on another post, but I'll say it again..

I'd also like to add that I'm very disappointed with the opening weekend box office sales for Remember Me. What happened Rob supporters?? We should have made much more of an impact on ticket sales.

If it's in a theater near you and you haven't seen it yet (shame on you), please go make your way out. It's a beautiful film.

I agree. I am very disappointed also, Its sad, some people only like him as Edward. I saw the teens that were in the theater, texting and bored half the time, they so didn't get the point of RM. Odd to, because allot of people were talking on here how they couldn't wait bla bla bla…

Exactly, and that's what upsets me. It was an absolutely beautiful film, showcasing Rob's chops as an actor beyond the saga and people still can't take him out of it. I'm now learning that some of these people are “fans” of his. Ugh. TRUE fans unite!

I know I agree. I was so mad today over this, but then people are saying it did good for a independent film.. good? not Amazing. Twi fans totally did NOT support this the way they were talking the past few months.

Also well put. It wasn't marketed properly to the right people. I guess Summit assumed they could ride on the coat tails of Rob's tween fans…but this movie wasn't really for them in my personal opinion. I was in the theater and saw what appeared to be a 12 year old girl with popcorn and thought, “hmm, thats inappropriate.” Maybe that's just me though…

No, they marketed it for Twi fans why? , it was def more for a 22 and older crowd, it was to deep for tweens and young teens, BUT if they are real ROB fans, not just Edward fans, they should have went regardless IMO…

it said the the runaways wasnt being realeased in ireland either but the website said coming soon, it has the offical cinema listings 4 ireland, so hopefully!!!

Totally agree! I really did have great expectations from Rob fans in US, but now seeing the “great” box office of this very 1st weekend, I can firmly say that most of those called “Rob fans” just love him cause of Edward character and not for himself, sad but true… This shows it all. I'm very disapointed about this, I wish I could be there to actually go to see the movie since the first day, but here in Monterrey (Mexico) will get it until March 26th! 2 more weeks! I'm so desperate to see him in RM, although I read the script I've read so many good reviews about his performance in it that I'm so excited.
I can already hear and see all those tv shows talking about the bad reception from the movie, god! They will start talking about all those teen girls just love him because of Edward, the low ticket sales and blah blah blah… Maybe they (teen girls) dont realize Rob cannot be Edward forever, he is not ONLY a pretty face, he needs to start to move on from this character at some point. And I dont wanna see he's only known just for this, he deserves so much more recognition for being a really good actor. I cant help but being sad for this and for Rob, I bet he had so much hope for the movie, he was so passionate talking about it and maybe he expected a good reception and support from most of the twilight fans. I feel like we have to return in some way something to him cause he have given us too much bringing us to life our beloved edward, so maybe one of the ways is going to see his movie and get high ticket sales, that way he can realize all the hype for him is not only about his role in Twilight, at least from my part it is not. I'm 24 btw… and a truly Rob supporter.

Pls people go to see the movie!!! Support him!!! I wish I could be in your country and being able to go
