Ashely Greene Talks About Being Recognised Stateside V Europe

Ashely Greene is due to star in Apparition with Harry Potter star Tom Felton as posted here.

She tell MTV:

“We’re both not very familiar with each others’ films. I was never a huge Harry Potter watcher and I don’t think he’s watched Twilight, [but] we’re both very aware of the effect that they’ve had and how crazy it is.”

She did admit, though, “We did compare the difference between how big Harry Potter is in the UK versus how big Twilight is in the UK and LA and the difference between those two, because he can actually walk around in LA whereas I can’t, and it’s flipped anywhere in the Europe. I can walk around and nobody cares who I am, but he can’t step out his front door.”

I live in the UK and I hate to say it but I don't think I would recognise Tom Felton if I fell over him. I have only watched one HP film though – the goblet of fire and no not because of Rob that was just a coincidence, a nice one. I watched it before I had even heard of Edward Cullen.

Perhaps I should borrow my Dad's dvds and watch the others.

And talking about The Apparition, I can't wait to see how it turns out for them. Horrors have never been my cup of tea but I'm going to see it in support of Ashley & Sebastian Stan.

And can I say I feel sorry for Sebastian Stan. Everyone is making it seem as if Tom is the lead or something when actually Sebastian is. Hopefully it will change when the trailer comes out ..

the only reason she cant walk around in LA is bc she practically CALLS the papparazzi so they can get pics of her. NO ONE cares who she is in the real world. she has this deluded sense of fame. SHE IS NO ONE SPECIAL.

I aways have to do a double take when I see Felton in his normal hair color. It first doesn't register that it's him but the back of my brain will then realize … IT'S MALFOY!!! Then I have to look again to confirm LOL.

im not a big ash fan and i think either of them or massive stars and after twilight ashley will prbley model rather than act and tom will do indie films i think harry potter is still the most popular but yeh if ashley was in england no one would care that much a few people but not on a big scale and she loves the attention so america the place for her

when i watched the red carpet stuff for RM I didnt recognise Felton with his own hair colour so I would prob walk right past him if i saw him in Dublin and I love the HP Movies.
