Ashley Greene – “Eclipse Will Be More Guy Friendly”

Maybe there is a chance we can drag our significant others to see Eclipse in the theatres? Ashley Greene thinks so!

In a recent interview with MTV – Ashely Greene is confident that Eclipse will appeal to the ‘male’ audience. She also talks about new director David Slade -

Although her work with the “30 Days of Night” and “Hard Candy” filmmaker had just begun, Greene said she’s excited about the vision he has for “Eclipse.”

“He’s been really good,” she told MTV News last week. “I’ve sat down and spoken to him and broken down the script a little bit. I definitely like his take on it. I think it’s going to be good.”

Just as co-star Taylor Lautner told MTV News on Sunday, Greene said Slade’s taking the third “Twilight” film in a darker direction. “I think it’ll be different,” Greene said. “I think it’s going to be a battle between the studio and the director, and it’s going to be a hard balance, ’cause I think he’s … a little more focused on it being real and maybe it being gorier and a little dark and kind of dramatic.”

Like the novel, which builds up to a climactic battle of vampires and werewolves, Greene said “Eclipse” has a lot more action than the first film and might appeal to more than just screaming teen girls. “The first one was very focused on this love story and really sweet and it was beautiful, but it didn’t have a lot of stuff that guys would go, ‘Yeah, I want to go see that,’ ” she said. “There’s going to be a lot more focus on [action], and the fight scene will have more emphasis on it. I definitely think it will be a little more guy-friendly.”

oh yeah! good thing i was sane enough to stay on track. but u couldnt believe what i went through there. i was having a normal interview until she asked me that one question: “whats keeping u busy these days?” and i almost laugh bcoz all i can think of at that time was this site and i wanted to say this: “well im busy having random conversations with the twilight fans all over the world, every day and every night of m life.” but no. i try to keep it together but started laughing at myself after. i just cant imagine her face if she heard that! she’d be like “wth is wrong with this one? obsessed much??” hehehehe. =)

me too! that trailer was just awesome! ’nuff said. though i actually found other fan-made mashed up trailers, just not as good as this one. its like the whole movie came before my very eyes. hehehe =)

Yes, I am a teacher. As I’ve told some one here, it’s hard to believe that
since some of the comments I post are so juvenile and childish…but ya
gotta have fun, right? ;o) I teach 8-9 yr. olds, so maybe that mind set has
rubbed off onto me. LOL

You know, we DO have a LOT of fun! Of course at that age it doesn’t take a
lot to entertain them, but I always find a way to make a lesson fun and
interesting. I currently have a collection of hats that I wear some days
during the lesson…pig, chicken, basted turkey, magician’s hat w/jingle
bells (yup…Asst. Superintendent came to my door when I was wearing that
one—-hilarious)…penguin (b-day gift that of course makes me think
“Penguins. Lovely.” LOL….and MANY more. Just today I had a student bring
in a homemade card for me telling me I was the best teacher and he also gave
me one of his own small stuffed animals and a “Capt. Jack Sparrow” bandana.
Of course I wore the bandana the whole morning while
teaching…yep…they’re all just used to it by now…even the staff! LOL

I’ve had teachers joke with me that they have to close their doors because
they can hear me laugh and us having fun—makes their students jealous. ;o)

It’s not hard to believe at all, Being with kids that age you need to be calm, creative and good sense of humor is a must!! Sound like you are enjoy what you are doing.

I think it’s great. Not so many ppl get to do what they love, so for that I’m happy for you:)
