Nikki Reed won the award for Young Hollywood Superstar in the Making, while Ashley Greene won the award for being a Style Icon.

I think it's great that you are standing up for what you believe in. Unfortunately, nothing we do is going to change summits mind, whatever they decide. It didn't work when everyone signed the petition to keep Rachelle as Victoria. I'm not trying to be negative, just realistic. PLus, in my opinion, I WILL NOT miss Eclipse. I feel like I am supporting the actors that are in Eclipse, which include Ashley and Kellen. I already bought my tix, as did 30 of my friends. I respect anyone that decides not too see eclipse because of all this bs, but Eclipse is my fav book, David Slade is one of my fav directors, and it's the movie where Jackson gets to shine. I have to go and support them.

Whoa. Just whoa. Those are some pretty crazy sexy dresses!

And I don't think that fans not seeing Eclipse will change the mind of Scummit at all. There will still be plenty of people going to see it so they won't find any reason NOT to make it. So many people are seeing Eclipse even after that Victoria recast and so many people saw NM knowing it was the last time they'd see Rachelle playing the part… Anyways, for all we know, Ashley and Kellan will work something out and all our boycotting will be for nothing. I'm not going to miss this movie for anything and they know how much it means to the fans so I'm sure it'll be fine. Sounds like Scummit just kinda booted Rachelle when things didn't work out, but it looks like they're negotiating with Ashley and Kellan.

I love this series too much to fret about this. I'm just going to enjoy it anyways. I'm just glad they're making them at all.

I did not say NOT to go see it. Just to wait. Don't you think it was slightly fishy how closely the reports about contracts and the ticket sales came together?

I am going to see. stupid suckmit will get it's theater price out of me – It just WON'T be opening night. I am simply refusing to play their games.

And as far as Rachel went they waited to let the fans know about that until AFTER she was fired and Bryce was hired. Just like with the original Twilight wolves (remember the 2 second appearance?). The petitions came too late. (And yes I do think Chaske IS Sam but that is not my point)

My point is that Summit knows they can get away with this because the fans will buy the tickets in advance no matter what.

It is personal choice and everyone needs to let their own conscious be their guide. Not everyone has Jiminey Cricket around to help them out! LOL

Agreed – No matter whether we book our tickets now or whether we wait till the BD salary dispute (If there even is one, I still think this has probably been blown out of proportion as usual) it will make no difference.

Don't get me wrong I will be devastated if A&K get replaced especially for them after they've come to love these characters as much as we do but this really isn't anything to do with us, at least not until anything official is released anyway.

Eclipse is my fav too & even if it wasn't I would still be booking my tickets a.s.a.p. I love this saga too much & have waited for these movies to be made for far too long for a salary dispute (again if there even is one) to ruin that. Sorry if this sounds harsh to anyone.

not trying to sound rude here, but I don't think it's fair to say that there are such few fans that are standing up for what's right. I have been a fan since 2005….When the book was published, and before the movies came out. I will support Stephanie Meyer because she is the reason behind all of this. Yes, i may be supporting summit by seeing Eclipse first thing, but I am also supporting the Queen Bee herself. Like I said before, I respect and applaud your decision to not buy eclipse tix yet, but please also be respectful and not assume that people are not being true fans and not “standing up for what is right” just because we bought Eclipse tickets already. (i'm not sure if you meant it that way, but that's what I got when you said “sucks so few fans are willing to take a stand”)

Yes well one stone in a pond can cause thousands of ripples. Each time I voice this and 1 person out of a hundred or a thousand reads it and agrees (then does not buy opening day tickets) DOES make a difference. Summit does read these sites. They know they rape most of us fans. They also know that there is a least a small percentage of us that will not allow that to happen.

It sounds like you gave up before even trying “Sorry but unless you get millions of people not to go” that is why a petition later won't do squat.

I am so sad to see that so many people are so willing to bend over and let Summit have their way.

I've been looking forward to this movie for months and if anything, we should protest anything BD, not Eclipse. And no one is “bending over and letting Summit have their way.” We'll all see the movie anyways so waiting a day or two doesn't seem like it'll make any difference or at least not a big enough one to get our way. I'm just looking at the facts. They made Eclipse even though Victoria was recast but no one was happy about it. I just don't understand how not preordering tickets will change their mind. And it says they are REPORTEDLY asking for more and that NEGOTIATIONS are being made. Nothing is anywhere close to being decided. I just think we need to hold off freaking out but if you feel strongly enough, start a FB or Twitter page petitioning and/or boycotting.

I have been a fan since the first book was published. I was on wait lists for each of the last 3 books of the saga. So I understand the long haul and loving the books for the books.

I honestly do not think that SM is getting a huge cut out of this. Her largest profit margin is from book sales not ticket sales (though I am sure she does get a cut but nothing compared to the books percentage wise). The largest cut of the ticket sales goes directly in Summit's pockets.

It is not what I meant about true fans. Even if it came off that way. I honestly mean that if people do not stand up to Summit it will continue to use and abuse the fans. Toying with emotions and charging ridiculous amounts for things that no one other Summit sees profit from. (Honestly $20 for an Imax ticket? I payed $12 for Iron Man, Star Trek, and more at Imax. That is extortion especially when everyone is working so hard just to get by in this economy).

If my comment s made you think about how Summit is toying with you then I count it as a win. Honestly. Because it is like everyone is living in fear that BD won't happen. It will. And it will be better if Summit understands how we all feel.

The recasting of Victoria is whole another reason not to go.

Do you think that if ticket sales are not the same or better for opening night that the media and Summit won't notice? They will and if they bother to look around they will see why.

(*shrugs*) everyone is welcome to do what they want. But I am still going to voice my opinion on this.

My opinion: Boycott opening day to make a statement about how far Summit can push. (and yes I have been looking into a petition but those don't tend to work with Summit and I can think of 3 examples of that.)
