Ashley Greene’s next upcoming movie is the coming of age drama Skateland. These stills have been released hot on the heels with the announcement that the movie will have its premier at the 2010 Sundance Festival.

The synopsis of the movie is “Dramatic events in early ’80s small-town Texas force a 19-year-old skating rink manager to see his life in a new light.”

Ashley looks so beautiful and the movie looks interesting enough, it kind of reminds me of Kristen's Adventureland though haha!..Good luck to all three movies and urgh I wish anywhere near Utah!

I love that Ashley is getting some recognition in something non-Twilight based. She's one of the actors that could really use this franchise as a stepping stone. i feel like she has so much untapped potential. She's such a prefect Alice… and Alice is such a hard character to portray without looking flighty or being obnoxious (both of which Alice was usually not… except for the odd appropriate obnoxious gestures when it came to Edward underestimating Bella or Bella being afraid of the spotlight).

Three cheers for Ashley, and thanks for posting TSH, I needed some good news this fine Monday morning!

I think it's the 80's look that makes you immediately think about Adventureland, but I must be the only one when I thought it resembled to The Yellow Handkerchief much more than Adventureland! Anyone? I mean the 3 of em in the car (got the 2 teens and the man), you have the headband, the boy and girl in the some room lying down together…talking! I'd consider it closer to that. I like Ashley but if it's too much like Adventureland or TYH, I can't watch it LOL cuz then I'll just make comparisons and won't be able to enjoy the film. But 1st and foremost, I have to see then trailer…then I can decide. But I’d rather see Ashley in Summer’s Moon cuz it’s completely different, it’s horror and this 1 seems similar to others I’ve seen.

Also, I'm new to the site! What does “unicorns?” mean?!!!

Alice is in some way Ron to Bella's Harry.And quite frankly Alice is also up to getting her own spin-off, her story is in some way tragic, her “family” adandoned her at an Insane Aslyum, hunted by James ( way to go CH and MR for leaving that out), until a kindly vampire, turned her and than she found happiness with Jasper, I wonder how they lived before joining the rest of the Cullens?

yeah both set in the 80s, shoot the Cullens were already around the 80s, makes you wonder besides Washington and Alaska, where else have the Cullens lived? this could be a fun game, plus how they tried to blend into each decade, although Edward was not fund of the 60s.
