lol I thought Chris was good.. but like the article said, he's not into big blockbusters, and that is completely fine. I think this series might have done better as an indie film or something anyway.

I just hope Summit goes back to the sewers after this franchise is over. They have had like, what, 2 good movies? I don't know… Lets hope BD surprises us….

Boy, that is a loaded question.

You don't read Twilight just for EC do you? LOL

The character of EC is like any other character in the book, they have highs and lows. They are adorable and wonderful in parts of the books and annoying and irritating at other parts.

Rob as Edward, there are moments when he is striking and beautiful, like the EC Diva Strut and the dinner scene in Twilight and the bedroom kiss in Twilight, wow.

But in general, he is so perfectly coiffed and prettified.

I PREFER Rob in real life. Scruff, unshaven, hair all over the place, tshirts and jeans, unkempt, manly.

You see what I am saying? I am not putting down the character of EC. He just has some serious issues.

I actually prefered him during the Volturi scenes because he looked messed up and tortured and not as pretty and perfect.

I completely agree with the first part. MR just sucks. No two ways about it.

I thought that NM was by far better than Twilight.

What I find incredibly disappointing is the fact that the Jacob and Bella relationship was developed so well in NM. There was such a lack of focus on that in the first movie and in the second movie for the Edward and Bella.

If people go in and just watch these movies, they don't GET the Edward Bella relationship because it was not conveyed well in either film.

They fell in love overnight in Twilight and then the whole break up scene lost it's impact to non readers because they never understood the fated earthshattering connection that Edward and Bella have.

Just like the reunion. It was rushed through and anti climatic. Then the whole bedroom scene was pretty much non existent, which I think is the single most important moment between Edward and Bella because they explain why and how they love each other so much and why they belong together.

IDK … I love NM, but there are definite parts that were rushed through and not conveyed well on screen.

But everytime I take a new person to see it, they are immediately hooked, so it has some impact.

well let me tell you that I have been reading this story way before the movies were made and everyone's Edward was Henry Cavill, and until this day, there are still those who say HC is the real Edward just as some still think Steven Straight is the real Jacob. And even Stephenie herself has said and I agree that no one is more right to be Edward than Rob.

EC and RB have alot of things in common, if SM ever decides to finish Midnight Sun, we will get to know how Edward was when he was human, I'm pretty sure he was a fun loving guy until the moment, he became in his view a monster.

They both love music
they both don't think to highly of themselves
they both think they are not worthy of the woman they love.

Now I do blame MR for the water down version of EC, we are getting in the movies, instead of the torture soul he was.

well a co-worker of mine became a TWi-Hard and Team Edward because of the movie. Quite frankly the movie did leave me wanting more Edward and Bella moments. Maybe the deleted scenes.

LOL .. oh boy we could go back and forth about this forever.

Edward on the surface is great. Beautiful, mysterious, gentlemanly, and he is a vampire. How cool is that?

But once you read the books multiple times, it is clear that there is a lot more going on beyond the surface and that is where his problems lie. He is tortured and conflicted and not sure of himself. He is instinctual and possessive and over protective and in BD he is a pansy.

But I still love the dude.

I agree with the first part, I disagree with the second part.

Yes they need to fire MR, I think we can all agree on that.

Now about the second part, I am so sick and tired of synical, clueless people trying to say that the love between Edward and Bella is mental illness. News Flash there is no extreme when it comes to love, and the love between Edward and Bella is extraordinary that's what makes it so interesting and fascinating to watch. They literally can not survive without each other, it makes it so beautiful and sweeping. This is a haunting/sweeping romance not a boring PC lecture!

Just like comic books portray the extraordinary in fight scenes and how only one man can save an entire city (apparently a pathetic city who can't save itself with all it's resources and police force. They need the super hero in tights lol, to save them.

I would say Twilight is much more realistic in the fantasy department, a normal, selfless caring girl who is strong enough to follow her heart and put her parent's happiness before her own (leaving Renee), and that that nice shy everyday girl can get her prince charming who will protect her, love her and take care of her.

I would hope to meet someone like Edward in real life, but of course not with the baggage of Edward (since Edward is a vampire and vampires don't exist, so no one will have the circumstances of Edward). But I sure would hope to someday meet a man who is a gentleman, who is strong and protective of me, and who will make me feel safe and loved everyday. Who doesn't day dream of that?

But an entire city that can't function despite all its funds and police force without the chosen one in tights lol, is hilarious and much more unrealistic, even in fantasy world.

I don't think Edward is a 'pansy' in BD. I see him as a tortured soul that is living in the knowledge that becasue of him, the love of his existence is dying in front of him, and he caused it, and there's nothing that he can do about it – His worst fear all through the books is that he will hurt her, and in BD, it's all on him – he does hurt her.
