It’s all a scam, Lana says.

“Anyone who is saying click here to audition for ‘Breaking Dawn,’ or the deadline is coming up, is lying. ‘Breaking Dawn’ is not in production. No casting directors have been hired. Nobody is hiring extras.”

First of all, “they haven’t even announced what city or country they’re going to shoot in,” Lana says. “They may shoot in Vancouver again,” in British Columbia. If they do, “they’re not going to hire American extras to shoot in Vancouver. American kids wouldn’t be legal to work in Canada anyway without work permits.

“There’s no way the production company would hassle getting permits for extras when thousands are dying to be in this who live right there.”

Even if Summit Entertainment, the company that produces the films, chooses to shoot in Oregon again — and there have been rumors it might — Lana says casting directors would never sift through individual applications for extras. They’d have a casting call and check out thousands at a time.

Kids who think they could be cast in actual roles need a reality check, Lana says. In the first film, a few roles did go to actors who weren’t yet famous. “But they were known to casting directors around the country,” Lana says. “They weren’t just plucked up off the street because they were fans.”

Lana thinks “Breaking Dawn” won’t be shot until the third film, “Eclipse,” is released, which is scheduled for June. “Publicity will need the lead actors until then for press, to go to premieres all over the world and appear on shows like Jay Leno’s.

“But even if, say, they were going to start shooting on June 1, the principal casting company would be hired maybe eight weeks before then, and it will work with actors who have talent agents already. There may not be any open calls.”

So anything that says casting is “imminent” is wrong.

“And extras won’t be hired until a week or so before production.”

One last thing: “No bona fide casting director charges anyone money to audition. That’s the bottom line.”

I wish we could all play a part in Breaking Dawn but we can’t. And no matter the temptation, please do not fall victim to these scam artists. What would Jacob and Edward think of us?

I knew it was fake no doubt about that and I watch all the entertainment shows like the E! channel and all the others as well so they are my source if information to let me know if a movie is going into production:)

I hope they make a decision soon as to when they are going to put BD out there I do want CW to direct it he is amazing and was very good at directing New Moon I hope too see more movies of him directing I will certainly see them:)

I do have one request cast Sam Worthington from Avatar as Garrett, he is an adventurer from the Revoluntiary War, and it won't hurt to add more eye candy, another thing sadly saying good bye to Mike, Angela, Eric and Jessica, we won't see them in the second film.

paying money to audition…. hmmm definitely smells like a scam to me! at least they are clearing up the misinformation. I would love to be an extra in BD…. I am naturally pale so no insanely pale makeup would be needed!!

Didn't think to look on the NM site.. And I understand that it's a saga, not a trilogy. I just hadn't seen that they finally decided on doing the last one. All I had heard was that IF they were doing it, it would be done in two parts, and that the main reason for the delay was because no one was sure how to keep the storyline PG13.
Believe me, I follow these sites everyday but I'm usually not home during the weekends to check in as often. Obviously, I missed a story or two.

Okay, so I did miss something… I went back onto NM.org and found the Breaking Dawn archives and found the video of Wyck Godfrey talking about the cliff jumping scene and making BD… And I was kinda right. If the archives on both NM.org and this site are correct, the makes of the Saga have only said they have every INTENTION of making the final movie (or rather movies) but that's not really all that official. IMDB.com does say that it's supposed to come out 2011 but I'm not sure I'll really and truly believe it until I hear dates lol Just to be safe…

Okay, looked back further into the Archives… I must have just skimmed the article talking about rumors the BD was going to be three movies cuz it does say that Summit got the rights from Summit to make it. **WHEW** I was going nuts wondering what was going on! LOL.
