i think it's messing with my head. are the REAL twilight fans truly tweens and teens? is that why the numbers are really so low? maybe summit does know who they are marketing to for the twi franchise.
if the #s for Remember Me are any indication of the rob fans vs the Edward fans (teens)…then wow… i was super naive

  • IloveyouEdward

    last picture..
    FINGER PORN.

His fingers are jusst so beautiful.

  • SnowyHedwig since 05/09

AMEN. Mr. Snowy knew about it, because I'd talked to him about the script… so he was interested in seeing it a little… and there were a few times where he cursed himself. Or I could see his hands clench into fists… when we were leaving the theatre, he said, “it was an OK movie.” Which was all he was going to say.
We were driving home, and talking about our favourite parts, and all of the sudden he said, “It was a d___ good movie!! The best drama I've seen in a long time!” LOL – he looked over at me and said, “sh*t! I wasn't supposed to say that out loud!” :D
When I picked my kids up from the bbsitter, she told me he'd texted her and recommended she and her bf go see the movie… yeah, it had an impact.
I tell everyone they need to go see this movie. Because they do.

  • vampwannabe *See Remember Me!*

please, please, please everyone…PLEASE go see this film!
    PLEASE SEE REMEMBER ME!!

  • bookobsessed

It is Oscar worthy but unfortunately the Academy doesn't always recognize films that they should. The pack of pompous ass@ss wouldn't consider it. However they have no shame in asking Mr. Pattinson to present an award to up thier ratings. that speaks VOLUMES!!!

  • SnowyHedwig since 05/09

Oh, I hope not. Nothing against tweens and teens, but that was not who I was surrounded by when I went to see Kellan, Chaske and Christian Serratos… I truly hope that the critics are not what are turning people away from it.
I have always been a Rob fan. Since Cedric Diggory. I own all of his movies, and just totally admire him for everything he is.
On the plus side, there was no stoopid screaming in my movie theatre either time I saw RM this weekend – even during the Eclipse trailer. THAT was a nice change.

  • CF911 Team Tyler Hawkins

I am still pissed off at the critics. The reviews and the marketing made a big difference.

RM is one of the best movies I have seen in a long time, probably since I saw Gran Torino, excluding The Hurt Locker.

I feel like they only judged it based on their over sensitive feelings for 9/11. Not fair.

  • CF911 Team Tyler Hawkins

The second one from the bottom where he has a tinge of anger on his face. Swoon!!!!!

  • bookobsessed

Mr. Books did that too. Twice this week-end he recommended the film and said quote “Don't ask what its about just go see it!” …..”It's not a chick flick, go see it.” He hasn't been that passionate about a film in a long long time.

  • CF911 Team Tyler Hawkins

I like all the hair. Even Bella's wig is not near as bad here. I am loving it.

  • CF911 Team Tyler Hawkins

That is my whole thing. WTF were the fans this weekend? If they can go see NM and bring in 120 million, they could go see this. RM blows both Twilight films out of the water.

  • vampwannabe *See Remember Me!*

same for me…no giggling or screaming over abs during the eclipse trailer. it was quiet and definitely a mixed crowd –not a twihard crowd.
i just thought it would be packed at least yesterday with remember me saturday…but it wasn't. :(

  • twilight_addict

I loved his hair in Twilight. Loved it! It WAS leonine, just as it's described in the books. Hated it in New Moon and am hating it here (Eclipse). Jackson is one of the most beautiful men I have ever seen, almost efeminately so..almost, and so it is quite tragic that the hair and make-up department are mistreating his natural beauty in such a way! It's funny, but the bigger budget alotted to hair and makeup in both Twilight sequels has mostly been to the detriment of the actors/characters (with the exception of Robert and Ashley, who I think look more like their characters in NM and eclipse than in Twilight). I hated the way Angela looked in New Moon. Gone was the akward, sweet nerd of the first film only to be replaced by a really hot girl with an overly-done hairdo and ugly glasses(the token “nerd” accessory). Bella also looked much more authentic in the first Twilight. You could really see her fragility in the paleness of her skin and the slightly lavander shade of her eyelids. She was beautiful! In New Moon she had much more makeup than was necessary, so much that it was visible despite its “neutral” colour scheme. She was hot, she just wasn't Bella! Oh, sorry, I'm doing it again..ranting…I can't help myself when it comes to things I love and am passionate about. I suppose I am simply an extremely opinionated person. Oh, well, what can you do? I am a deeply flawed creature, admittedly. Perfection, after all, is reserved for one being only and the name of that being…you guessed it, ROBERT PATTINSON! : )

  • CF911 Team Tyler Hawkins

I feel the same way. The movie “moved” me. I saw it twice this weekend and it is still with me. It was about so much more than the love story or even Rob's hotness.

I am thinking about getting my mom and mother in law to go with me to see it.

And my husband even loved it.

  • bookobsessed

Do you really think it was over sensitive feelings about 911 or the fact that Mr. Pattinson was in it and produced it? Do you think they would have been that nasty if one of thier golden boys starred in it instead. I think they hate to give credit where it is due. Every cast member in that film did a great job and they only grudgingly credited Ruby because she's 11.

  • CF911 Team Tyler Hawkins

I again adore Mr. Snowy. That man rocks. hehe

My husband loved the film too. And he did NOT want to see it, but I dragged his tail there. He got so mad during the classroom scene when the kids were picking on Caroline. He said that Tyler should have knocked the girl to the floor.

Just goes to show how much the critics were wrong.

  • vampwannabe *See Remember Me!*

omg, CF! what is going on?! i so agree with you! twilight & New moon don't even compare to Remember Me.
    it's ridiculous!
im sorry everyone, but that's the truth. Remember ME is brilliant. it stands alone!
where are Rob's so-called- fans!?!are they really just EDWARD fans? im soooo disappointed…i don't get it :(

  • CF911 Team Tyler Hawkins

IDK. I think that it was twofold. One because they were not expecting the 9/11 ending and did not know how to deal with it, so they just slammed it.

Two, because it is not a popular thing to like the “vampire guy.” So they looked for any excuse to pan the film and the 9/11 was a convenient way to do that.

No one is going to sit and tell me that Rob's performance was bad. He was amazing to me. So was Ruby and Chris and Pierce.

I don't know what the critics' problems were but people are just not going to see it because they are saying how offensive the ending was. It's not like they showed the plane or the destruction.

  • vampwannabe *See Remember Me!*

CF it's really part of me, this film. it's not about Rob. I never saw Rob. It was Tyler, it was heartache, heartbreak, loss, anger, love, friendship…it's everything.
    why aren't people going? omg..

  • CF911 Team Tyler Hawkins

Apparently they are. That became so clear this weekend. I have seen it on here over the last six months, everytime Rob is seen looking scruffy or unkempt or on the set of Bel Ami or Beardward. They are quick to judge and bash him for not being clean shaven and pretty like Edward.

Well here you go. The Twilight films are what they are. I like them because of the cast and for Twilight, but the movies leave so much to be desired.

RM is by far better on every level. The emotion, the characters, the direction, the story, the acting. Just on a different level all together.

  • bookobsessed

Remember me was a limited release. It wasn't in the amount of screens as the Twilight films. You can't possibly break those records unless you're playing it in multiple screens. New Moon played in 14 out of 16 screens at the midnight showing last year at my local theatre. Remember Me had 1 screen that it shared with Alice in Wonderland. There were only 5 show times on Saturday.

  • CF911 Team Tyler Hawkins

People, GO SEE RM. It is that good. Do not listen to the critics or the Rob haters.

  • TE101_FingerprintsNeverFade <3

Why thank you :) I'm guessing you agree? :D

  • bookobsessed

Don't judge them too harshly CF911. It was a limited release film and everyone on these websites has praised Remember Me and has complained about the critics. I saw maybe two posts by grey faces that didn't like the film and you know how grey faces are. They just like to cause problems. They probably never saw the film.

  • vampwannabe *See Remember Me!*

i feel like…i don't know…i want another blog, that maybe is a blog for Rob, not related to twilight. does that sound bad?
something changed me watching this film.
again..sorry everyone. i love the saga, i love the books, they were wonderful…

idk…just can't go backwards now…does that make sense, CF?

  • vampwannabe *See Remember Me!*

but even in my ONE little theatre, there were only like 50 people in there…you know what i mean? where are the fans? there are literally millions of fans…so what happend to them?
    im just stunned

  • bookobsessed

I think in the end it will be a success because the word will get out and people will go see it. It will just take longer because of the screen count and the bad press. The DVD will do even better. In all Rob has nothing to be ashamed of its a great movie and he should be proud of it. Perhaps 10 years from now when the “Academy” will look back on it more fondly. That is when they get thier heads out of thier @ssess.

  • bookobsessed

You have to look at the whole picture Vamp. My screen was packed. I guess it depends on where you are. It did make 4th this week-end which for a designated “chick flick” in a limited release up against Alice in Wonderland it did really really well. It is a good movie and is doing well. Don't be discouraged. Its a great film and is making a considerable amount of money for Summit. It didn't cost that much to make.

  • Team Ty-Rob-ward ((ORD))

oh i cant wait for that too but you know what i hate the most i feel like we never saw a back-ground story to Edward, Carlisle and most of all Alice's past. I hate that we see Jaspers and Rose past come to life but we cant see Alice and Edward's, they are the two most inportant vampires in Bella's life.. god i really hate MR and CH

  • ROBNIE[Rob<3Nietha]

oohh.. jasper… ur always be my second love afterr…

Oh..My edward.. i wish i could get bored of u….

seeing edward as a breakfast is not a good choice guys…
    seriously..

    breakfast+edward= heartbeat raising=heartattack=thud=die

  • SnowyHedwig since 05/09

Yeah. These are not Twilight fans suing they loved the movie. If anything, these poor men have all the more reason to hate it than anyone else! They're forced to be around it consantly, and get ignored by their wives whenever Rob is on anything…. So if they loved it, well then Shut. The. F*ck. Up. Loser. Critics!

  • ROBNIE[Rob<3Nietha]

even i dont wacth RM yet.. i belive that it is great… rob was nowhere to bee seen in tyler..

rob is nowhere to be seen in edward..

  • SnowyHedwig since 05/09

Yup. Bella's wig is muh more bearable here. But Carlisle'a – I love him dearly, but it makes me think helmet hair…. :D

  • SnowyHedwig since 05/09

Nope. It's not fair. After all, we have movies made about Iraq, WWI, WWII, and any other bloody war you can think of. Movies have been made about serial killers or rapists, cults and terrorists…. And yet, Hurt Locker takes the Oscars by storm, while RM is accused of “mawkishly tarnishing a national tragedy”. WTF?

  • Lucie LegHitcher

    *shivers*
I can't understand anyone not liking it. I just can't understand. Just reading what you wrote about those scenes.. I got shivers. This movie has stuck with me so much. I just.. don't understand. I hope everyone involved with the movie know how much it HAS impacted so many people.. rather than them just hearing the negative reviews.
    *sigh*

  • Hitchy

I saw it last night. He was amazing in it! I loved that boardroom scene (oh and bedroom scenes too!)

  • erikkass

i lobb robert pattinson. l want to see eclipse.♥!♥

  • http://www.eclipsemovie.org/ Stopdbreathn

Cool – not just my stupid computer then – still not fixed…..waiting…..waiting……
got one look in then foof! all over again….damn it…….
I could be missing out on seriously hot robward stuff here, and I won't know about it…….. not happy!

  • twilight_addict

Snowy, I am 1.000.000% with you on the Rob-love! I was sent to review Harry Potter and TGOF for my dad's magazine, and the second Robert landed onto the screen I was utterly lost in love! Have been following him ever since HP and he is the reason I learned about Twilight in the first place. I was expecting RM to open with at least 35-40 mil' (considering the hords of screaming fans who constantly profess their undying love for him) and was shocked at the poor estimates! SHOCKED! Unfortunately, I live in Israel where RM does not come out in theartres (*weeps*). But you can bet your sweet life that I would be ALL OVER the theatre if it were showing here. It's very sad to witness how limited is the “fan” love of Robert. It isn't Robert they love but Robward- a non-existant entity. I'm glad that there are people like you, snowy (and the other lovely ladies who frequet this site), who are TRUE fans of the person and the actor that is Robert Pattinson, rather than simply being obsessed with a fictional character! Rant over!

  • TeamDelish-CarolinaCullenCoven

I can't believe the measley numbers either, ta! I was fully expecting the theater to be sold out opening night at RM…where are all the fans??? They're missing out on an amazing movie with amazing performances by amazing actors. *sigh*

  • http://www.eclipsemovie.org/ Stopdbreathn

Yeah, definite double standard here isn't there….
I could go on and on forever about this…..But, I know that YOU know that I feel the same, so Ill just say DITTO!

  • twilight_addict

I cannot convey to you how miserable I felt last night after reading the official reviews. I couldn't sleep for hours. I am not the “blind follower” type and will give criticism where it is due (yes, even about Robert), but the sheer malice of the critics is just unbelievable. It's difficult to pass judgenment when I have not seen the film, but all the various clips were so good and promising that I find myself appaled by all the negativity. As for the numbers, all I can say that I am immeasurably disappointed in the so called “Robert and Twilight fans”, I guess they are showing their true faces!

  • SnowyHedwig since 05/09

    LOL, thanks!

  • TeamDelish-CarolinaCullenCoven

I know what you mean! I haven't actually read any of the official critcs' reviews because I very rarely agree with them anyway. And, I am just shocked that more people are not going to see this movie.

  • SnowyHedwig since 05/09

Thanks, darlin'. There are a lot of us who love Rob and feel the same. *whispers* I love Edward, too, though…. ;)

  • TeamDelish-CarolinaCullenCoven

So sorry I didn't get to catch up with you tonight, SB! Disqus acting weird on my end, and I'm exhausted from the time change thing and all the stuff I had going on this weekend. I will look for you tomorrow, lovely! ;-)

  • http://www.eclipsemovie.org/ Stopdbreathn

night sweets, mine is playing up too….see you tomorrow :0)

  • twilight_addict

*Whispers back* I love Edward too! Alot! My favorite book of the series is Midnight Sun. Can you guess why? Yep, you got it, because it is told from HIS perspective! *lights another candle on her “SM please finish Midnight Sun” altar* I think I might actually die if she doesn't! The meadow scene from Edward's POV…*touches wrist to check for a pulse*

  • SnowyHedwig since 05/09

    Me, too! *hugs tight*

  • queenannie

    a solid 9!!!

he still looks better with brown hair so I had to deduct 1 point for that but I love everything else.
