MTV’s Hollywood Crush has put together their list of fashion  hits and misses from the 82nd Annual Academy Awards. Both Eclipse co-stars Anna Kendrick and Kristen Stewart were hits -

We weren’t as surprised by our love for Anna Kendrick’s romantic Elie Saab gown though. Anna has always been one of our red carpet favorites and the Oscars were no different. We loved the color of the dress, the draping, slit and of course makeup.

Anna’s “New Moon” co-star Kristen Stewart also wore a dark color, midnight blue, and while we haven’t always loved Kristen’s style, we couldn’t stop gushing over her fabulous Oscars look. The black strapless Monique Lhuillier dress looked great on Kristen and we thought the decision to go with a classic up-do was totally on point. Our one gripe? We would have loved to see more bling. But we won’t hold that against her, especially since she did such a good job of holding her posture for the pictures!

In regards to Kristen’s bling. Her ears are not pierced. Unless she wanted to wear clip ons, earrings were out of the question! She did have a very dainty bracelet on. I think the lack of jewelry kept Kristen true to who she is. Her look, in my opinion, was flawless.

Anna always looks smashing. She truly owns any red carpet she is on! Another flawless look.

E!Online has a new article discussing how Twilight, in some ways, took over the Oscars last night -

What’s an awards show these days without some teen vampires and werewolves? Nothing! So that’s why at this year’s Academy Awards, they snuck some in. The Twilight Saga: New Moon had, let’s see, zero Oscar nominations, but somehow here’s Anna Kendrick, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner attending the ritziest party of the year.

So Kendrick didn’t technically sneak in. She totally earned it, being nominated for Best Supporting Actress for Up In The Air and also presenting an award (lucky!) with Zac Efron.

But Taylor and Kristen dodged bodyguards and hid behind props to get into this thing. OK, not exactly—but did the Academy cook up a tribute to horror films just to have an excuse to put these two on stage together?

Also, Robert Pattinson couldn’t make it, but still got mentioned in Neil Patrick Harris‘ opening ballad.

So now that the stars have gained access to the planet’s most exclusive party, all that’s left is to make a Twilight movie worthy of Oscar night…

Huh. Not sure what I think of that. The Academy cooking up the Horror  films tribute just so they could have an excuse to have Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner present? If that was the case — then why didn’t they just have them as presenters?

Why is it that people need to make a conspiracy out of all things Twilight! Sheesh!

Most definitely!  She looked amazing!  Anna did not receive the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress, but we are so proud of her nomination.  Go Anna!   Congratulations to Monique!

Anna Kendrick arrived at the 82nd Academy Awards in A pale pink-nude-ish looking Elie Saab dress.

While being interviewed on E! Live from the Red Carpet Anna mentioned to Ryan Seacrest that she canceled her first dress choice — a blue style by an unnamed designer.

I like the dress but I think the blue would have stood out a bit more and  I wish she has done something different with her hair too as we’ve seen that style at most of the other awards but I can’t fault her… she looks gorgeous… a new girly crush perhaps?!
