By now I’m sure you know the drill… MTV announces voting and the twihards come out in force to make sure that Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart get Best Kiss and as many awards for the latest Twi-Film. This year its Eclipse that is up for many awards!

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s did-they-didn’t-they MTV Movie Awards kiss last year may have ranked among our favorite MTV memories of Rob, but if you ask me, the “Twilight” twosome could do it better. (Exhibit A: Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams’ acrobatic acceptance speech, which still gets me hot and bothered.) Will the third time be the charm for Robsten? Help us find out by nominating them for a Best Kiss golden popcorn at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards!

Yep, it’s that time of year again! Voting begins today in 13 categories, including Best Movie, Best Fight, Best Badass Star and the brand-new Best Line From A Movie (“Release the Kraken.” “I’m 6’5″, 220 pounds and there are two of me.”)

Browse all the nomination categories and cast your vote at MovieAwards.MTV.com. Voting is open now until Tuesday, April 5. The victors will proceed to the final round of voting, which takes place May 3 through June 4. And, of course, the winners will be announced at the 20th annual Movie Awards, airing live on Sunday, June 5 at 9 p.m. ET.

So here’s how things work:

The power of the Golden Popcorn is once again yours! Starting today, we’re asking you to cast your votes and select the nominees for the 2011 MTV Movie Awards in 13 categories ranging from the familiar (Best Movie, Best Kiss) to the brand-new (Best Line from a Movie).

Can “Eclipse” reprise the success of “Twilight” (seven nods) and “New Moon” (five nods) before it? Will Biggest Badass star go to Robert Downey Jr.’s sardonic, super-suited hero in “Iron Man 2,” to Angelina Jolie for her acrobatic brawling in “Salt,” or someone else entirely? Which star’s unforgettable line — Liam Neeson’s plea to release the Kraken? Justin Timberlake’s insistence that only a billion dollars is truly cool? — will be the first to take home this award? For a third-straight year, it’s up to you!

Here’s how it’ll work: Starting Tuesday (March 22) and running through April 5, you can log onto MovieAwards.MTV.com to nominate your favorite movies, stars and crazy cinematic moments. Once the final nominees are announced, head back to the site to vote for the winners from May 3 through June 4. Voting for Best Movie, however, will remain open throughout the live ceremony on June 5 — meaning you’ll have a chance to affect the night’s biggest prize until the very last minute.

“MTV’s viewers are die-hard film buffs, and we love to see how they wield that dedication when voting for the MTV Movie Awards,” said Stephen Friedman, general manager of MTV. “This year’s show will once again reward movie buffs with previews of the year’s most anticipated movies and one-of-a-kind moments that become pop-culture history.”

The 20th Annual MTV Movie Awards will air live on Sunday, June 5, at 9 p.m. ET from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California.

So go… run… vote! and this year we may get an actual kiss!

Best Fight: Robert Pattinson, Xavier Samuel & Bryce Dallas Howard

Best Villian: Bryce Dallas Howard or Xavier Samuel (Billy Burke is also nominated in this category for ‘Red Riding Hood’)

Best Line From A Movie: Robert Pattinson ‘Doesn’t he own a shirt’ or Taylor Lautner ‘Lets face it, I’m hotter than you’

Best Female Breakout Star: (Jodie Ferland for her role in ‘Case 39)

Best Male Breakthrough Star: Xavier Samuel (Jackson Rathbone is also in this category for ‘The Last Airbender’)

Best Female Performance: Kristen Stewart

Best Male Performance: Robert Pattinson or Taylor Lautner

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse was nominated for a Razzie Award (which is not something to be proud of, the winners are considered the worst in that category).  Fortunately Eclipse did not win in any category they were nominated in … but .. Eclipse Vampire Jackson Rathbone (aka Jasper Hale) won Worst Supporting Actor for The Last Airbender and Eclipse -

Offender M. Night Shyamalan’s “re-imagining” of the faux-anime’ TV series THE LAST AIRBENDER into a jumbled, jump-cut mess of a movie that fans of the TV show hated even more than critics did (if that’s even possible!). In addition to Worst Director and Worst Picture, AIRBENDER also “won” Worst Screenplay, a brand-new RAZZIE category for 2010, Worst Eye-Gouging Mis-Use of 3-D, and Worst Supporting Actor Jackson Rathbone (who had the misfortune to appear in both AIRBENDER and 2010’s other most-RAZZIE-nominated title, TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE).

No worries Jackson! We think you are awesome!!!

 As previously reported, Robert Pattinson may be nominated for a Razzie. Well, it’s happened, no matter how hard we’ve  tried. The Twilight Saga:Eclipse  is the contender for winning a Razzie  award.

Not everyone is smitten with the Twilight crew.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse earned nine nominations Monday – including acting nods for Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart– for the Razzie Awards, the anti-Oscars show that proudly recognizes the “worst achievement in film.”

Eclipse, which is also up for worst picture and worst screen ensemble, tied for the most nominations with M. Night Shyamalan’s The Last Airbender, another worst-picture nominee.  Rounding out the worst-picture category are The Bounty Hunter, Sex & the City 2 and the Twilight parody Vampires Suck. 

By looking at the list of nominees, they picked a handful of movies they didn’t like and decided to rag on them. Whatever. So how’s the weather where you are?
