We previously posted the music video for Metric’s Eclipse (All Yours) from the The Twilight Saga: Eclipse Soundtrack. Here’s the behind the scenes look of making Metric’s Eclipse (All Yours) music video!

When Metric’s Emily Haines was approached by award-winning composer Howard Shore about writing a track for ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ soundtrack, it was clear that the band was presented with an opportunity to reach an epic new audience. Haines, Shore and guitarist Jimmy Shaw soon got to co-writing the song, ‘Eclipse (All Yours),’ with a certain focus in mind.

“[Shore] was like, ‘What I’m attracted to is Metric, but it’s not about it representing Metric,” the frontwoman says in the following clip. “It’s about you embodying the voice of Bella.”

The behind-the-scenes footage, directed by Luke Wooden, captures the scenic shots of the rustic North Vancouver location in which the song’s video was filmed.

“Kristen Stewart is a really good actress and I feel like Bella’s a really important character for young women,” Haines previously told Spinner. “She’s not a stupid girl. It’s one of the most insightful portraits that I’ve ever seen of what it really is like to be a young woman and deal with the kaleidoscope of emotions that you go through on a daily basis.”

Watch the exclusive video below to get a peek at what it was like to translate the feeling of ‘Eclipse’ into a music video.

Love this song. Perfect song for Bella.  Loved how All Yours was playing in the background when Bella and Edward were in the meadow at the end of Eclipse.  *sigh* I want to see it again now!

Watch the music video again for All Yours after the break!

Eclipse Movie Offical Score Cover

The Official Score for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is now available! Have you listened to it yet?

To my ears, the Eclipse Score sounds more dynamic and mature than the scores for the previous movies in the Twilight Saga. There are some very lovely pieces such as “Bella’s Theme” and “First Kiss” alongside positively menacing tracks like “They’re Coming Here” and “The Battle”. It holds up well alongside Howard Shore’s other masterful works for movies like The Lord of the Rings and Eastern Promises. The Barnes & Noble review notes that

Most of the score is powerful, even muscular, suggesting that a lot more than broken hearts might be at stake in this film. Shore signals danger through echoing guitars and galloping drums, most strikingly on “Riley” and “Victoria” with the drama and dread befitting a vampire on the warpath…..The most restrained yet majestic Twilight music yet, Shore’s Eclipse score brings a surprising amount of dignity to this pop culture phenomenon.

If you’ve bought the Official Score, what are your thoughts? Does it meet your expectations? How do you think Shore’s work compares to the previous scores for Twilight by Carter Burwell and New Moon by Alexandre Desplat?

You can now listen to samples of each track at iTunes, who are offering a Bonus Track version for $11.99. Amazon also has the CD for $12.99 or the MP3 version for $8.99 without the Bonus Track.

Bitchin’ Lifestyle  interviewed Eastern Conference Champions recently.  Their song ”A Million Miles an Hour” is featured on The Twilight Saga Eclipse Soundtrack.   ECC talked about being a part of the Eclipse soundtrack and how they would react if they had Robert Pattinson’s level of fame.

Greg Lyons, Joshua Ostrander and Melissa Dougherty are about get a feel of just how powerful Twilight fans really are. While you may not have heard of a band called Eastern Conference Champions just yet, you will soon enough. Snagging a spot on the newly released ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ soundtrack, their song ‘A Million Miles An Hour’ is but one of their already amazing collection of accomplishments.

Bitchin’ Lifestyle chatted with ECC drummer Greg Lyons about the scarcity of soft pretzels in Los Angeles and got the 411 on how they are a part of the most widely talked about movie franchise around.

BL: How did ECC get involved with Twilight – are you aware of what a big deal it is?

GL:  The Twilight thing was months of hard work for us, lots of stress, lots of hearing “maybe” and all that. We knew we had a chance but we also knew that hundreds of other bands – most of whom were more well known than ECC – were going for it as well. When we got the placement the three of us knew it would be a big deal but probably didn’t anticipate how big it actually is.

BL: Robert Pattinson has legions of ravenous female fans willing to sell their first born for chance at meeting him, how do you think you all would react to such a level of fame?

GL:  We would cower and cry in a dark corner.
