Check out Christian Serratos (aka Angela Weber) in The Black Keys music video for Howlin’ For You.  The Black Keys were featured on The Twilight Saga: Eclipse Soundtrack with Chop and Change which appeared at the beginning of Eclipse when Riley stepped out of the bar.   

The Black Keys won three Grammys Sunday night with Best Alternative Music Album &  Best Recording Package (Michael Carney) for Brothers, and Best Rock Performance By a Duo or Group with Vocals for Tighten Up.

Muse won Favorite Alternative Rock Artist at the American Music Awards on Sunday November 21st.  MTV caught up with Muse after the AMA show and talked about the Twilight fanbase. 

Their latest album, 2009′s The Resistance, has sold millions of copies around the world, scored them a handful of hit singles, allowed them to sell out concerts on four different continents and perform at a number of high-profile television events. A bulk of that success is because of Muse’s participation on the soundtracks of “The Twilight Saga” movies (Muse are “Twilight” author Stephenie Meyer’s favorite band). Their “Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever),” for one, was the lead single from the soundtrack to last summer’s “Twilight Saga: Eclipse.”

But in an interview with BBC’s Radio 1 back in July, Muse bassist Chris Wolstenholme expressed some trepidation about the band’s involvement.

“I’m not sure how cool it is to be on those kind of things, but sometimes you’ve just got to get your music out there in different ways,” he said. “You have to take every opportunity you get, and sometimes you have to sell your soul.”

When asked on Sunday about their “Twilight” stance, Muse frontman Matt Bellamy clarified the group’s position. “Loads of young fans come to our gigs now who say, ‘We heard that song from that film,’ ” he told MTV News’ Tim Kash after the AMAs. “And that’s great. We’re happy with that.”

Bellamy also said that he’s fine with the vampire flicks. “The first one was pretty good,” he told Kash. “The second one I only saw a bit of it. A guy kept taking his shirt off and showing his muscles, which was getting a little cheesy. The third one was pretty good.”

Florence Welsh of  Florence & the Machine has spoken to PopDash about the meaning behind the their track Heavy in your Arms, featured on the Eclipse Soundtrack:

“‘Heavy In Your Arms’ I suppose is about the weight of love, and how sometimes it can be a burden between two people.”
“I felt this was a strong theme in the Twilight series – is someone being rescued or are they being condemned, and is the love you carry bringing you down?”

Discussing the recording of the song, she added: “I recorded it using a lot of strange reversed vocal samples and big hip hop piano. It’s basically inspired by 90′s hip hop and gospel choirs, like most of my songs.”

We previously posted the music video for Metric’s Eclipse (All Yours) from the The Twilight Saga: Eclipse Soundtrack. Here’s the behind the scenes look of making Metric’s Eclipse (All Yours) music video!

When Metric’s Emily Haines was approached by award-winning composer Howard Shore about writing a track for ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ soundtrack, it was clear that the band was presented with an opportunity to reach an epic new audience. Haines, Shore and guitarist Jimmy Shaw soon got to co-writing the song, ‘Eclipse (All Yours),’ with a certain focus in mind.

“[Shore] was like, ‘What I’m attracted to is Metric, but it’s not about it representing Metric,” the frontwoman says in the following clip. “It’s about you embodying the voice of Bella.”

The behind-the-scenes footage, directed by Luke Wooden, captures the scenic shots of the rustic North Vancouver location in which the song’s video was filmed.

“Kristen Stewart is a really good actress and I feel like Bella’s a really important character for young women,” Haines previously told Spinner. “She’s not a stupid girl. It’s one of the most insightful portraits that I’ve ever seen of what it really is like to be a young woman and deal with the kaleidoscope of emotions that you go through on a daily basis.”

Love this song. Perfect song for Bella.  Loved how All Yours was playing in the background when Bella and Edward were in the meadow at the end of Eclipse.  *sigh* I want to see it again now!
