Several other fansites are reporting that the above 2 images are set pictures from The Twilight Saga – Eclipse. One picture being the Tent, and the other the graduation party.

Never.

That is the short answer to that question.

Yet the rumour mill is full force yet again. And I’m not saying that what is going around isn’t true, BUT until I see hard facts, evidence, it is a rumour. And since I’m here to bring you all Eclipse news — I’ll let you decide for yourselves what you want to believe and what you do not.

Malicious Mandy has blogged about what she has heard in regards to the Eclipse re-shoots. What scenes were filmed, etc -

This list is by no means complete, it is simply what I have been able to compile by speaking with various people “in the know” one way or another (directly or indirectly) and should I learn more I will edit/add. Three long days of shooting surely covered more than these scenes and if they were re-worked scenes or simply “lighting/colouring adjustments” I can’t say with certainty but will address later in this post.

Scenes:

-Tent Scene (Bella crawls into Jacob’s sleeping bag, banter between Jake & Edward)
-Pick Me (Jacob’s heart felt plee with Bella)
-Kiss & Punch (Jacob & Bella)
-Various Close up’s (Yes wig issues worked out for Bella, these shots are likely the lighting/colouring adjustments also)
-Some love triangle discussion (jealousy of Edward, persistence of Jacob, confusion of Bella, mostly at tent scene but some in Bella’s room of Edward/Bella)

I have heard there needed to be MORE Jacob/Bella in the film and deeper emotion with the two of them in scenes. Take that as you will.

I also heard due to being unable to get the “Meadow” set for a 2nd day (Another production was using the area) because they couldn’t get everything done in the first day, (again I don’t know but I imagine due to Robert Pattinson not being there) they had to try to shoot close-up’s of cast as if in the meadow (this reminds me of Catherine Hardwicke’s “meadow” but rest assured, it was only for close-up’s apparently so they will still have wide shots of the ACTUAL meadow outdoors from original filming in the summer says source)

We previously showed you a picture of Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner from the Eclipse re-shoots, that took place last week in Vancouver. We now have more thanks to sneaky paps in a helicopter.

Twilight Saga – Eclipse director David Slade just tweeted about how things have been going with Eclipse, and how smoothly the re-shoots went with Rob, Kristen, and Taylor -

Check out the awesome (but far away) set picture of Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner from the Eclipse re-shoot that took place in Vancouver this week.

As we previously told you (again and again ) this was a schedule re-shoot of only a few scenes.

Eclipse cast mates Robert Pattinson (aka Edward Cullen) and Taylor Lautner (aka Jacob Black) arrived at LAX airport this afternoon (May 1) after finishing up re-shoots for Eclipse. There other co-star, Kristen Stewart (aka Bella Swan), was also in Vancouver re-shooting scenes from Eclipse as well.

No pictures of Kristen leaving as of yet. Stephenie Meyer has already left.

We just reported that Twilight Saga author Stephenie Meyer was in Vancouver overseeing the Eclipse re-shoots that took place over the past few days.

We now have visual confirmation that she was indeed there — and has now left!!

As we already know — certain scenes from Eclipse required a re-shoot. We were told that this was something already planned. The re-shoots involved Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner.

There is nothing to fret about when it comes to having re-shoots for a movie. It is very common, and doesn’t mean there is something wrong. There are even reports that Stephenie Meyer was in Vancouver seeing over the re-shoots. Which should give you all peace of mind.

Stephenie Meyer left earlier today.

Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart also left today.

Once again Gossip Cop has come to the rescue of Twilight fans to bring us accurate information, and to put our minds at ease.

As previously reported — Lainey Gossip blogged that there will be reshoots in Vancouver soon for Eclipse. She stated that they are redoing the meadow scene, fight scenes, and other key scenes. She also said that her sources told her there have been creative differences with David Slade and Summit Entertainment.

While she had the reshoot part correct, Gossip Cop has shot down most of Lainey’s statements -

A report widely disseminated earlier today made big waves by claiming that “key scenes” in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse need to be reshot in Vancouver, and speculated that the development indicated production on the June release was troubled.

Gossip Cop looked into it, and we have the exclusive answers.

First, regarding the implication that these reshoots were unexpected, an authorized rep for the studio tells Gossip Cop, “The reshoot was planned for months, like it is with the majority of films.”

Let Gossip Cop settle some other false rumors.

Contrary to today’s inaccurate speculation, “creative differences” have not led Summit to consider bringing in another director for the reshoots.

David Slade is 100% directing them, like he did the entire movie, and the studio is “very happy” with his direction of the film, which internally is believed to be the best of the series.

As for the timing, speculation that there will be three rushed days of 18-hour shoots is incorrect. The Summit rep tells Gossip Cop that it’s a two-and-a-half to three-day shoot, and that “very little” actually has to be reshot.

But the biggest misconception concerned the specific scenes alleged to be those in need of a reshoot. The rep confirms to Gossip Cop, “None of the meadow or action scenes are being reshot.”

Asked to comment on today’s alarmist rumors, the authorized rep for the studio tells Gossip Cop, “Reports much like the one earlier today are ploys to drive traffic without any merit and without any support from the studio on what is actually going on or true.”

Gossip Cop will continue to bring accurate “Eclipse” production news before the film’s June theatrical release.
