Our very lucky reader, Niki, attended the The Twilight Saga: Eclipse DVD autograph signing with Kiowa Gordon (aka Embry) at Best Buy in Dallas, Texas on December 17th!

I took my 17 year old daughter to the Dallas signing and it was amazing.  Kiowa was so nice, signed personal names for everyone, took pictures, etc. The staff was so welcoming and accommodating…it really was a fan appreciation event!  They gave away merchandise to everyone, it was well worth the wait!

 That is wonderful Niki!  So happy for you and your daughter!   Thank you Niki for sending your photos to us!  Great photos!

Some of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse cast will be at different Best Buy locations in the US to host autograph signings of the Eclipse DVD! 

Summit Entertainment and Best Buy are partnering to host in-store autograph signings, giving the perfect holiday gift a special touch for its recipient.  The first 200 customers to line up at each event location can receive an autograph from the cast member in attendance, with the purchase of any The Twilight Saga: Eclipse DVD, Blu-ray or Combo Pack.  Lines will open two hours prior to each event start time.

We previously posted Moviefone’s search for the biggest Twilight fan.  Our friends at Moviefone have another poll for best hero between Edward Cullen and Harry Potter! 

‘Twilight’ and ‘Harry Potter’ are both fantasy books-turned-movies, and they’ve shared one actor in the form of Mr. Pattinson (who played Cedric in ‘Potter’ and now plays Edward in ‘Twilight’). They have also both achieved cult-like devotion from their rabid fans.

Before the next ‘Potter’ film comes out on Nov. 19, we’re curious to see which movie (and book) series’ fans have the strongest base.

For one thing, we’re looking for the biggest ‘Harry Potter’ fans and biggest ‘Twilight’ fans to submit videos about why they’re the best and craziest representatives for their franchise. Think you have what it takes? Submit your video about why you’re the biggest ‘Harry Potter’ or ‘Twilight’ fan of them all. Winner gets bragging rights and possibly the chance to thumb-wrestle your ‘Potter’ or ‘Twilight’ counterpart.

Also, we’ll be creating regular polls to decide who is the biggest, most passionate fanbase — Potterheads or Twi-hards. Here’s the first question, on the series’ main heroes. Come on, fans, let’s have it out once and for all.

One of our very lucky and longtime newmoonmovie.org/eclipsemovie.org readers, PeaceLoveSeth, got to meet Boo Boo Stewart (aka Seth Clearwater) last weekend!!!  PeaceLoveSeth has been a HUGE supporter of Boo Boo getting the role of Seth in Eclipse from the very beginning.   Here’s PeaceLoveSeth fan encounter with Boo Boo!

Today I just met Booboo Stewart.

No biggie, right?

Just kidding, it was best day of my life and I don’t know where to start. All of this is because of TeamSpaceHeaters so a huge eternally grateful thank you to her! Big thanks to Bean also since you are awesome. Thank you Hollywood2Brooklyn and AlohaSD because everything you’ve done has been amazing. And thanks to everybody else!

After at first getting turned away from the Booboo photo op session I was finally able to get in later! Seeing him for the first time in person, even if from a distance was so surreal, it was like he was a hologram or some sort of cartoon. I was in the line in the photo op room, totally shaking with both nerves and excitement. When it got to be my turn he said “hi”, we got our picture taken together, and then it was time to move on.

My Nan and Grandad came with me for the morning to make sure I was sorted, (and to make sure TSH and Bean weren’t crazy people) were standing in the room just near Booboo’s dad. My Nan said to me, “did you tell him your name and what you’ve done for him?” to which I said, “No, it moved too quickly and I was nervous.” My Nan then told me to tell his dad, and at this point, his dad looked up at me.

I must have mumbled some coherent answer just basically saying, “Hi, I’m Caitlin. I helped Booboo a lot by supporting him on YouTube.” To which he said, “Oh that’s awesome, did you tell him that?” I said, “No, I was too scared.”Booboo’s dad said, “Oh, well you should’ve. Wait here.”

There were only about twenty girls left waiting for pictures and just as he wrapped up the photo op he was talking to one of the workers and Booboo’s dad called him over. Booboo came over and I said something along the lines of, “Hey, I’m Caitlin. I made all those videos on YouTube campaigning and supporting for you to get the role. You got told about me at the Twilight Convention in Boston.” He was all like, “Oh, yeah. That’s so awesome, thank you. Yeah, I remember being told to go for the role on YouTube.” I then pulled out the picture of all you EclipseMovie.org girls with Booboo from the Boston convention and showed it to him. He said, “Oh yeah, I remember that! Yeah, the superman shirt!”

I then, (wait for it) got a HUG!

I explained how all of you had tried everything to get me to meet him and that I just had to meet him. He thought that was really cool and I got ANOTHER hug! Booboo then shook hand with my Nan and Grandad, thanking them for bringing me. My grandad said, and I quote, “I am never washing this hand again.” Then Booboo said some other things during that conversation, but I can’t remember everything because I was so nervous. He thanked me again and said that he’ll see me later in autographs. We said goodbyes and I walked outside the room, he walked out shortly after and waved and smiled at me as he walked away. It was so awesome, that whole conversation was amazing! I’m so thankful to his dad for allowing that.

Just a note, Booboo sounds so much more American in person, he has a much stronger American accent when you talk to him in person and it’s so strange because he sounds normal to me in videos and even on stage in the talks he sounded normal.

After this amazing encounter I went to get Charlie Bewley’s autograph, he is an absolutely gorgeous man. After that TSH, Bean and I were standing in the corridor and Chaske Spencer walked right past us, we’re talking centimeters away! TSH missed him though, she looked up at us wondering what was going on and Bean only had to say “Chaske.” It was nice to see the cast just being able to walk around without people pouncing on them.

Then came time for Booboo’s autograph session, Bean and I were lined up and waited for our turn. Bean got her autograph first and then Booboo looked up at me and said, “Oh hey, it’s good to see you again! It’s Caitlin, right?”

I was happy he remembered me from the Photo Op. He then signed my poster and even put a personalized message on it saying, ‘To: Caitlin, Booboo, Thanks 4 all the help!’ I even got another hug! It was so amazing. We said our good-byes and at that moment my life was totally complete.

Later on we had the Q&A with Chaske Spencer, Julia Jones, and Gil Birmingham which was hilarious! This was followed by the Q&A with Charlie Bewley and Leah Gibson, which was pretty funny too.

Then finally we had the Booboo Stewart and Bronson Pelletier Q&A, which was absolutely hilarious and the best of the three! Booboo was the only cast member who stood up for the entire session, he was so great with the fans and even did a flip for us! A fan asked Bronson and him a question about cheesy pick up lines so Bronson put his hand on Booboo’s shoulder and said, “Are you a thief?” Booboo told him no which made Bronson respond by saying; “Because you stole my heart.”

Though I think Booboo topped him by grabbing Bronson’s shoulder and said, “Did you just fart?’ which caused everybody to burst out laughing making him continue by saying, “Because you blew me away.” Booboo and Bronson were absoulutly hilarious and make such a great pair.

This had been the best day ever, I still cannot believe what happened with Booboo and that I actually met him. I am eternally grateful to TSH for all of this and thankful for everyone on this website for being so awesome and kind. You made my dream come true!

Oh PeaceLoveSeth!  This is just awesome!  We are soooooo happy for you!!   Especially everything you did to help Boo Boo.    I love our Twilight family!

At the hotel: Sarah and I noticed this group of people coming down the sidewalk from the right, crossing the street and walking with a purpose straight towards us. I did a double-take because I noticed this thin girl in the middle of the crowd with skinny jeans, sneakers, black-and-white checkered shirt, and a beanie on her head. I was definitely thinking “Wow, this girl really looks like Kristen.” And then I caught a glimpse of her face as she moved her left hand up to shield it and realized it was definitely her! I turn to my left where Jen was looking down not paying any attention and just barely whisper “There she is!” to her, and she immediately popped her head up while they passed us to go inside the building.

Once they went past, they walked straight over to the elevators (which can be seen from where we were sitting outside). Kristen took her hat off and they all piled into an elevator. Meanwhile, we started heading their way, Jen in front, to get one last look before she disappeared. As Jen approached, the elevator doors shut and we watched as they stopped on several floors (probably to try to keep us guessing and prevent us from trying to follow them, which let’s face it, some people would, but we really did not want to be those fans!).

Regis and Kelly taping:  We actually weren’t the first to arrive at the studios on 67th and Columbus. In fact, the first 7 people that were there since 10 p.m. the previous day (oh yes, you read right), weren’t even there for Kristen! Crazy, I know. There was one girl who had been there since 11 p.m. and she was a KStew fan. That made Jennifer, Sarah, and I numbers 9 through 11. We were a little scared they’d cut the line off at 10 once they let the standbys in, but thankfully we all got in fairly easily. It wasn’t the most comfortable wait, as it was raining and below 50 degrees, but once again, TOTALLY. WORTH. IT.

We were finally let into the building about 15 minutes before the show was to start and while the security guard was searching through my bags and taking my pepper spray away, Jen and Sarah were shuffled out to the studio, where they came across none other than our dear friend HBG (hot body guard)! Jen even walked up and patted him on the stomach and said hello. (I still can’t believe she did that!) The great thing about it was that he definitely recognized us and liked us enough to say hello again. He will always have a special place in our hearts.

Once we were seated, the show started only minutes later and thankfully, Kristen was the first interview. It was so great to see her for the length of time that we did. I feel like she was there at least 10-15 minutes because of the long commercial breaks. She appeared to be really shy and not quite comfortable in front of a live audience, doing her usual nervous ticks like shaking her legs up and down and fidgeting in her chair.

Oh! And let’s not forget our now infamous “We love you, Kristen!” moment, which we planned to do as soon as the audience stopped clapping and all was quiet. Now, I know we weren’t the only fans in the crowd, but considering that those who had tickets got them in advance and didn’t know who would be on the show, I think we made up a large portion of the fans in the audience, which was great. Kristen really hadn’t even looked into the audience until our shout-out. Go us!

We really couldn’t hear the interview very well, which was all right because we were very focused on getting footage and waves from Kristen (three in all). Then we realized that HBG was standing off to the left side of the set, and, well, we just couldn’t resist getting his attention. After waving our hands around a little, he looked up and waved back, trying to stay professional, but definitely smiling at us. We mouthed to him “Did you tell her about us?” And after a few back-and-forths with him saying “What?” He gave us the slightest of nods that he did pass on our message. How great is that?!?  (And we think he’s so great, we’ve even started a Facebook fan page for him because he definitely has fans now, too!)

So after the second half of the interview, which included Kristen hiding her face during the clip, the cameras stopped rolling and she got up to leave, hugging and kissing Regis and Kelly. And as she walked across the set, she did a double hand wave and–I kid you not–a second one-handed wave accompanied by the signature eyebrow raise/head nod and big smile right in our direction! (And we have pictures to prove it!) That right there definitely put this trip into the number one spot.

And the rest is history. Seeing Kristen both in her element just walking down the street and in the spotlight really made all of us appreciate her a little more. Here’s hoping we get to see her again soon!

Daddy C, is in the house! Well next month anyway. The Twilight Saga star Peter Facinelli who plays vampire patriarch Carlisle Cullen will be signing autographs at the Fright Nights festival in Utica, New York!

A star of the “Twilight” vampire movie series is due to sign autographs at the debut of Utica’s new weekend-long Halloween-festival in late October, city Mayor David Roefaro said Monday.

The “Fright Nights” festival, presented by the city and Keeler Productions, will take place in Hanna Park outside City Hall on Friday, Oct. 22, from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. and on Saturday, Oct. 23, from 4 p.m. until 1 a.m.

Peter Facinelli, who played vampire doctor Carlisle Cullen in the latest “Twilight” movie, will sign autographs from 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, until midnight. The festival will also feature live music, local foods, carnival rides, games, and local vendors.

Peter is such a class act. He is the most active of the Twilight cast when it comes to the fans and is always eager to meet the them. Gosh, don’t cha just love the guy? I’ve decided to attend this festival, I hope to see some of our readers there! To check out all of the festivities click here.
