Here are  The Twilight Saga: Eclipse action figures by NECA of Edward, Bella, Jacob and Rosalie (Series 2).   We previously posted the Series 1 of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse action figures of Edward, Jacob and Victoria which are available now.

I didn’t find information on when the Series 2 of these action figures will be available.

O.o  What do you think?  I do like the v-neck t shirt on Edward and Rosalie’s shoes.

Zac Efron and Robert Pattinson need no introduction. They have become household-names and their popularity ratings are through the roof, and not with just the teen scene. So the question is, who will be the leading man?

Efron Wins! “If he plays his cards right, he could easily be the next Leonardo DiCaprio,” says tween-marketing specialist Ashley Dos Santos. 

In addition to possessing the ability to inspire killer soundbites (like the one above), Efron can memorably model swim trunks, honorably acquit himself in an art-house movie (Me and Orson Welles), and credibly, and non-sleezily, talk strip clubs with Jimmy Kimmel. In other words, the 22-year-old is a credit to his own peer group.  

“When you look at him in interviews, he has a certain approachability,” Dos Santos says. “I think if he can prove his acting chops, Efron will definitely gain acceptance among twentysomethings.”

One advantage he’s got over Pattinson? The High School Musical grad has moved off the covers of the OMG!-ing Bops of the world, per Dos Santos, while Pattinson remains in their grip, thanks to the not-yet-done Twilight franchise.   

Pattinson Wins! OK, so maybe some of Team Edward’s audience is still on the young side. But at least it was never on the Wildcat-crazed tween side.

“Zac has the same ‘problem’ as Miley Cyrusin aging up the audience,” youth-marketing consultant Allison Ellis said in an email. “[Pattinson] never had this issue because audiences never met him until Twilight.”

And while Remember Me didn’t break any box-office (or critical) records, Pattinson’s world-famous mug helped the romantic weepie ultimately gross more than triple its budget. (In a crowded weekend at the multiplex, the jury’s out on whether Charlie St. Cloud will top Remember Me‘s own modest domestic opening weekend.) In any case, Pattinson is money—or at least money enough to land Reese Witherspoon for his new leading lady.

Also, his new haircut(for the Witherspoon movie, Water for Elephants)? Not a bad answer to Efron’s torso.

I love them both. Well ok Rob more, but that Zac Efron is soooooooooooo easy on the eyes. Check out EOnline for their thoughts on the winner(s).

The Official Facebook page for the Twilight Saga in the UK has just released a ton of Eclipse stills, most we have NOT seen before !!

For those who have seen Eclipse –  the 2nd picture, with Bella and Jacob, did you notice that is not in the actual movie? It appears to be from a deleted scene. And from what we guess it is supposed to be  (and what the rumors are going around about tis pic) is from some sort of vision Bella has when she is kissing Jacob. We reported back in October that Bella’s house was decorated differently on the outside, flowers, pumpkins, etc. We know Eclipse does not take place in the fall. Could be that “vision” Bella has! We shall see

Four lucky fansites were chosen out of a hat to visit Stephenie Meyer, author of the Twilight Saga–and they did! Here’s a summary of what they reported back:

Letters to Twilight

Two of my favorite bloggers in the world and super-friends from Twilight fandom Moon and UC from Letters to Twilight had the chance to go. I was thrilled to hear the news after finding my site wasn’t chosen. I knew their coverage would be much better than what I could do (now JayPat and LMCullen, they’d be the ones to go if we were picked and they’d nail it)! LTT girls haven’t had the chance for a full recap–but so far they say:

We interviewed Stephenie Meyer yesterday. No, scratch that- we hung out with Stephenie Meyer yesterday for four hours.
Yes. You heard that. FOUR HOURS. We have amazing photos (We’re pretty sure the photographer got some good ones of us stuffing strawberries in our faces & feeding each other grapes) and H-O-U-R-S of conversations to pour over.

• Breaking Down: The parody version of Breaking Down that Stephenie wrote in her head as a release from stress: Stephenie just decided to write in her head a story where Charlie ends up as a meth addict, Bella accidentally kills Alice, Edward runs off in depression can’t stand Bella anymore, Bella settles down in the arms of Mike Newton who then leaves her and runs off with Eric Yorkie. Bella can’t take it anymore walks to the infamous cliff goes to commit suicide then decides she can’t do it turns back from the cliff trips over her own two feet, trips, hits her head on a rock and dies.

If you live in one of twelve cities, good news: Summit is putting on an official “Twilight Night” in your city on Saturday, June 26th to celebrate the Lunar Eclipse in honor of the release of the Eclipse Movie on June 30th. These events will include free outdoor showings of Twilight and New Moon for fans.

The lucky cities for Twilight Nights are: Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Miami, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, Salt Lake City, St. Louis, San Diego, Seattle and Washington DC.
