Nikki Reed (aka Rosalie Hale) posted these new gorgeous photos on her personal website iamnikkireed.com.  Nikki’s photos were photographed by her brother Nathan. 

Most of the time when actresses/models do photo shoots, they show up, and get told what to do. It’s a relatively thoughtless process for me, and I’ve always felt like I wanted to contribute, in some way, to the theme of the shoot.

My older brother is an unbelievable photographer.  Some people can take amazing photographs of things, but not necessarily of people.  Nathan has this ability to capture human emotion through the lens like nothing I have ever seen before (Most of what I am talking about is apparent in his photos taken while he traveled Europe and South America).  We decided a few weeks back that we wanted to do a shoot together.  Why haven’t we done this before? I don’t know.  It seems like it would satisfy both of our artistic desires right?  I suppose it can be viewed as very narcissistic that I want my brother to take pictures of me, but its good practice for him to learn to photograph an actress (an art of its own believe me) and I get to take pictures that actually appeal to me.  At the very least its tons of fun, and because working with a family member can be challenging, we end up strengthening our bond through every creative endeavor that we do together.  With the help of a few friends 5 Sundays ago (Kristin Ess who does hair and contributed theme ideas, and Samuel Paul who does makeup ), we took some rather fun/stylized pictures….

Beautiful photos of Nikki!   Well done brother Nathan!   My favorite is the one of her at the piano.

Nikki Reed who plays the bitter vampire Rosalie Hale takes us into the life of being a Cullen sibling and an actress for a movie that has demanding roles and sometimes not so nice weather conditions.

“I had always been excited about making it to this film, obviously.” says Reed. “Just for the sake of finally being able to justify Rosalie’s behaviour. I’ve carried that responsibility with me, making sure that people get where she’s coming from.”

The scenes, filmed around old West End buildings and the Hotel Vancouver, required hours in the hair and makeup chair to recreate Rosalie’s elaborate period look.

“That’s the process of moviemaking,” she says. “I also trained for seven weeks and didn’t end up in the battle sequences — that’s a very silly mistake that we made.”

A glitch in the lighting of her action scenes meant her work couldn’t be used in the movie’s climactic conflict between werewolves and good and bad vampires. [click to continue…]

Empireonline.com interviewed Eclipse director David Slade, Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen), Xavier Samuel (Riley), Nikki Reed (Rosalie Hale), Kellan Lutz (Emmett Cullen) Alex Meraz (Paul) and Boo Boo Stewart (Seth Clearwater) while in London while promoting The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

Kellan was in jazz band and played the trombone!  Love him even more now!  New word: Wolfafy!  LOL!

Nikki Reed (Rosalie) got some new ink on her forearm Tuesday, July 6th in New York City. 

The shop was quiet yesterday with all the heat outside but Twilight movie star Nikki Reed  and her brother made it in to Daredevil for new tattoos. They got matching white tattoos on their arms. Nikki plays blonde Rosalie in “Eclipse”.

Nikki Reed bad a**!!  Love her!!

Xpose (Ireland) interviewed Nikki Reed (Rosalie), Kellan Lutz (Emmett), Eclipse director David Slade, Ashley Greene (Alice) and Xavier Samuel (Riley) recently while they were promoting The Twilight Saga: Eclipse in London. 

I love these interviews!  I love the Irish accent!
