MTV UK interviewed Robert Pattinson recently promoting his new film Water For Elephants.  MTV UK talked to Rob about winning back to back Best Kiss awards with Kristen Stewart at the MTV Movie Awards and if thy’ll win it this year for Eclipse!

“It’s kind of terrifying if you suddenly stop winning it. You’re like, ‘Oh God!’ ” Pattinson told MTV UK about his chances this year after winning at back-to-back shows.

This year, Stewart is not only nominated for kissing Pattinson in “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” but also onscreen romantic rival Taylor Lautner. “It’s almost worse than if you stop winning, like, acting awards or whatever,” Pattinson continued, sharing his disappointment at the idea of losing this year. “If you can’t kiss anymore, it’s like, ‘What? I’m still good at kissing!’ ”

The film is nominated seven other times, including for Best Movie, Best Female Performance, Best Male Performance, Best Breakout Star and Best Fight, so there’s a good chance that if Pattinson doesn’t take home the Golden Popcorn for Best Kiss, he won’t go home empty-handed.

There’s been no announcement if he, Kristen Stewart or Taylor Lautner will attend (which I’m pretty sure they will) the MTV Movie Awards.   There’s been a tweet from RioFilms, that the Breaking Dawn Part 1 trailer will be released during the MTV Movie Awards, but no confirmation from MTV or Summit.   *fingers crossed*

Rob, if you need help with kising more, I’d be more than happy to help you. OK Peeps!  We need to keep voting all day for Rob and Kristen to win the best kiss award.  Now, I know Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis kiss scene from Black Swan may give them their run for their money (which was kinda hot, not gonna lie)  BUT let’s keep voting for Rob and Kristen!!!  We have to see them kiss or attempt to kiss at the MTV Movie Awards!  Go VOTE HERE!!

Next Movie’s Male Twi-Hard, Ryan McKee, has a great and funny article about Eclipse being snubbed in 6 other categories by the MTV Movie Awards. 

While it’s good to be at the top, basking in our superiority over more lightweight fare like “Inception,” “The Social Network” (only five nominations, ha) and ”Black Swan” (only four nominations, ha), I cannot stop glowering over the categories in which ”The Twilight Saga” was overlooked.

There were a whopping six of them in all: Best Villain, Best Comedic Performance, Best Line From a Movie, Best Jaw-Dropping Moment, Best Scared-As-S**t Performance and Biggest Badass Star. 

The most glaring omission is here is that neither Bryce Dallas Howard nor Xavier Samuel were nominated for Best Villian, a category where “Gossip Girl” Leighton Meester made the cut for remaking “Single White Female.” It’s not easy taking over a character from another actress — fans are always going to compare you to the previous version – but Howard ownedVictoria like I own the acne on my back. I don’t even remember Rachelle Lefevre’s name (I looked it up, okay?). And Samuel, he is nominated for Breakout Star, but why not here too? Tom Felton’s Draco is the Easter Bunny next to Samuel’s Riley.

Then there’s Best Line From a Movie. Perhaps because the first two “Twilight” films gave us so many great lines, the members of the MTV Movies Awards Academy have just come to expect it. What about Edward’s line: “Bella, would you please stop trying to take your clothes off?” Not only is that hilarious, it more or less sums up the entire “Twilight Saga” in one sentence. Yet here is where the MTV Academy chose to honor “Grown Ups” for the line “I want to get chocolate wasted.” Clearly, they were chocolate wasted.

In the Best Fightcategory, Robert Pattinson vs. Bryce Dallas Howard and Xavier Samuel was nominated, but I don’t feel that’s enough. The Cullens and Wolf Pack versus the Newborn Army should not only have been included, but also gone on to win by unanimous decision. It includes mortal enemies teaming up for the good of Bella. Plus, CGI wolves, decapitation, vampire moves… what more could you want?

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s did-they-didn’t-they MTV Movie Awards kiss last year may have ranked among our favorite MTV memories of Rob, but if you ask me, the “Twilight” twosome could do it better. (Exhibit A: Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams’ acrobatic acceptance speech, which still gets me hot and bothered.) Will the third time be the charm for Robsten? Yep, it’s that time of year again! Voting begins today in 13 categories, including Best Movie, Best Fight, Best Badass Star and the brand-new Best Line From A Movie (“Release the Kraken.” “I’m 6’5″, 220 pounds and there are two of me.”)

*Rumour Alert* I thought I’d put that out there before we proceed….

So rumour has it that Robert Pattinson is teaming up with David Slade for a role in his new movie Daredevil!

Robert Pattinson As Daredevil Rumors Surface; Said To Be Similar In Tone To Batman Begins!

Apparently, there’s some “talk” that the Twilight actor is being looked at to reteam with David Slade on Daredevil, while new details on the tone and story have also emerged…

“The West Hollywood Resnorter” over at Moviehole has a very interesting piece up about David Slade’s planned Daredevil movie (said to be a continuation, rather than a reboot) but two things in particular caught my eye.. The first, is the revelation that the movie will be similar in tone to Batman Begins, while the mention of a bad guy trying to destroy Daredevil certaintly fits in with the rumor that they’re thinking of basing it on Frank Miller’s “Born Again” series.

Slade’s pitch, I’m told, is said to be a “close cousin” of some of the other superhero movies out there in the market place (I believe he’s referring to films like “Thor” and “Captain America” which are bright, boisterous blockbuster types that skip on the gloom and go straight to the boom!) – which shouldn’t surprise anyone. “It’s a bit Batman Begins. The bad guy will learn who Daredevil really is and tries to destroy him – but not via the usual methods.”

Second, was the mention of there being “talk” about Twilight’s Robert Pattinson being linked to the role. Seeing as he’s worked with Slade before and is rather popular with a certain demographic, it’s not hard to believe that he’d be considered (and there is something of a resemblence) but as we’re talking about the guy who directed 30 Days Of Night and a character like Matt Murdock, I don’t see it happenning!

And yes, with David Slade given the job, there’s “some kind of talk” about Robert Pattinson – who, with the “Twilight” series winding up, is going to be looking for a new well-paying gig – playing the part of Matt Murdock – – -which, I have to say, I don’t dislike the idea of.
