Dakota Fanning on ‘The Tonight Show’

Check out the very lovely and grown up Dakota Fanning (aka Jane of the Volturi) in The Twilight Saga:New Moon & Eclipse. Dakota visited Jay Leno yesterday to talk about upcoming film The Runaways & Jay surprised Dakota with a record! Dakota recently received a record player as she had no idea what to do with it…how old do I feel right about now.

Check out part 2 of the video where they show a clip of The Runaways where Cherie Curry is approached by a record producer.

The Runaways opens in theaters March 19th!

Don't worry Dakota! I didn't get my permit until I was 16 and my license until I was 18!! Haha.

She is amazing! So funny and very comfortable in front of the camera. Very well-spoken.

Great birthday present – record player and vinyl runaway albums. They had to show her how to use a record player while filming the runaways – I feel very old too!!

no, well I was told that its some kind of a game…. that when there is anew post and when you are first who has commented you wrote first, that the others would see that and then if you want, you edit something else you want….. bahahahaha guys! i have a funny story, i was driving on the freeway near LAX coming from santa monica and well i saw this really nice green hudson horrnet and i was admiring it when we drove past the driver and all i was was this man with a big chin and big white hair. and i was like,,,WTF. is that….its JAY LENO!!!

i was like mom. thats jay leno and shes like no it isnt. and i was like yes it was! slow down! and eventually we were next to each other again and i looked over and he looked at me and did that like “whats up gesture” with a peace sign . it was so fcking weird. hahaha

damn how i wish that was kstew or something, then i could die happy. hahaha.
