Dakota Fanning Takes A Stand Against Cancer!

Eclipse Vampire Dakota Fanning (aka Jane) has teamed up with over a dozen young celebrities in the fight against cancer with new PSA charity called Change The Odds, to support the Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) charity raising money to fight cancer.

Among the young celebrities involved are: Zac Effron, Andrew Garfield, Vanessa Hudgens, Willam Moseley, Sofia Vassilieva, Logan Letterman, and of course .. Dakota Fanning!

Once again, those part of the TwiCast amaze me with their awesomeness. When I see posts like the one about The Wrap's Brent Lang trashing actors just b/c their films aren't all 100% blow-your-mind, it makes me so mad. These people are more than just actors who love what they do- they're PEOPLE who do what they love. They save shelter animals, help fight poverty, and stand up to cancer. Good on you, Dakota.

Sidenote: I love the background song they used (OK Go's “this too shall pass”, but every time I hear it all I hear is The Station's “Mousetrap Never Works”. Look it up on YouTube, it's pretty funny stuff!!!)

I love the commercial, it was funny!! especially the zac part, I LOVE him and everything, but let's be honest….. How many of you wouldn't prefer it was ROB instead of him, and US instead of THEM!! at least I know I DO!!!

I didn't know the odds of getting cancer were that high, and that they were so much higher for men. That really stinks. This is a great charity.
