I'm sad so many people are discouraging it, because I don't want Summituri thinking they need to keep everything under wraps for Eclipse.
Although, as I've said before, I think they're going to see how much money they make opening weekend for New Moon. If they make tons more than they did with Twi, they're going to think, “Well, we did everything right with promoting it” and will keep doing what they're doing for Eclipse. *crosses fingers*

They showed the birthday scene. It's exactly like the book. Emmet is hilarious. But they stopped it up to where Bella gets the papercut so it wasn't a huge spoiler or anything. But, it was awesome!

People usually just don't like Twilight for 3 reasons: 1) they don't like vampires, 2) they don't like anything that's “in” or “overhyped” (they want to be different for the sake of being different), or 3) they just don't understand it and don't care to understand it, since bashing Twilight is sort of the cool thing to do right now. Yea, yea, I'm sure there are some people out there who have read the series and just couldn't get into it for whatever reason, but I'm sure the majority of non-fans fit into at least 1 of the 3 categories above. That's just my take on it, anyway.

1) The darker tone of the picture itself totally and completely gives us an idea of how much significantly darker Eclipse is compared to New Moon (no pun intended because that would be DUMB.)
2) I can see the directing style of DS and CW is completely different in terms of emotional climate, but both have the same awesome caliber to them. WOOOOT!
