It's the last book I'd want to have a TJ director filming. Jake is being a major douche in it, I don't want him to be anything other than that cause Slade may or may not have a disturbing crush on him.
Also seeing as Edward's back, we have to have balance, we don't need Slade pushing more Jake scenes unnecessarily.

I hope he gets the essence of E/B, if not the movie will suck hairy mountain lion balls…

The upside to not having any speakers at the hotel computer was that we left the next day. I couldn't wait to log on at home and hear/see the trailer in HD. Jane looks so evil I'm really glad they picked Dakota. And Demetri slamming Edward onto the floor really ticked me off. I liked how Kristen played Bella during that scene. You can really feel her pain see her love being thrown around.

OMG YES the underwater scene was terrific. I was hoping they would make that good and CW really delivered. I'm glad they showed Edward when she was under water. She was ready to give up then when Jacob saves her.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but… I think you guys may be reading more into this than is really there.

I do not think that David Slade has a “disturbing crush” on Taylor. For all we know (and we REALLY DON'T KNOW), he could be trying to respect Rob's wishes to lay low and stay out of the spotlight for a little while. Maybe Rob's fans should do the same and respect him and leave him alone to do his job and live his life with a little bit of privacy for once.

OR…maybe Taylor is just friendlier and more open with Slade than Rob. Maybe Slade is just having fun with Taylor, and sharing that fun with us lucky fans!

I think we are lucky to be receiving any updates from the actual DIRECTOR! I mean, have you ever seen any other director do that? I haven't.

I'm all about just being into the movies now. Yes they are completely gorgeous. BUT… I have NEVER seen actors who seem to HATE the spotlight like Kristen and Rob. Did you see the MTV awards? Taylor even looked unhappy to be onstage with them. I love, love, love, love the movies, but at this point don't care to know what's going on outside of that. I wonder if they'd hate all their crazy fans if we suddenly stopped showing up.

I hate it when you hear things from friends that can possibly change your

Oh, I know, it makes my day when there is a new Robsten pic out! I LOVE THEM!! They are goegeous together and I just thought about it earlier today, how much the two of them and their chemistry contributed to the sucess of Twilight. Imagine if Edward and Bella were played by two other actors, who maybe did a good performance on screen but didn't really get along or just wasn't friends off camera, how different that would be!

And also, just have to send some Kristen lovin' out there: I remember watching Twilight for the first time (by that point, I hadn't read the books, I know sorry, but I've read them like 8 times now instead ) , and I remember thinking that “Wow, this girl is really special, she brings something to this caracther that you don't normally see in young girls”. I remember thinking that her style was so different, she didn't play the characther as a damsel in distress, but was strong and relatable.
And I'm not just saying this now in retrospect (now that I know what kind of person Kristen is), I ACTUALLY thought about this the first time I saw the movie, and was blown away by her!

And now, that I'm like totally lost in the Twilight universe, and have read so much about the actors and seen countless of interviews with all of them, I get it! I understand how Kristen was able to bring that to her character, because she is totally AWSOME!!!! =D

I was just having a conversation with “I Love Alphas” the other day about
this…it was like we had talked about out everything else in the books and
under the sun, but somehow we forgot THIS! LOL

You know….frankly, I absolutely love the whole idea of imprinting and am
so happy that Jake found the one that was truly meant for him—complete
mutual feelings and the equal drawing of both into what will later become
the most wonderful, loving relationship for him. I don't see it as some
do….”it's a baby, for goodness sake…A BABY!” Well, yeah, technically she
is, BUT right now it is only the draw to want to protect her and provide
for her, do whatever he can….(If I had time I'd pull out my book and find
the part where he tells Bella all about the imprinting thing–LOL–but
getting ready to go to work). It's not sexual in any way…right now he is
just her protector and she knows that there's something about him too, but
she just sees it as him being there for her all the time.

To me, I find it downright romantic to know that the person you will
eventually wind up marrying has been with you from day one, making sure that
you were cared for, happy, protected…THEN when that day comes that it
“registers” for both that there is more, they will have the most wonderful,
loving relationship—-the kind that Jacob deserves—someone that truly
loves him through and through, no questions asked. *sigh*
