The Twilight Saga: Eclipse was nominated for a Razzie Award (which is not something to be proud of, the winners are considered the worst in that category). Fortunately Eclipse did not win in any category they were nominated in … but .. Eclipse Vampire Jackson Rathbone (aka Jasper Hale) won Worst Supporting Actor for The Last Airbender and Eclipse -

Offender M. Night Shyamalan’s “re-imagining” of the faux-anime’ TV series THE LAST AIRBENDER into a jumbled, jump-cut mess of a movie that fans of the TV show hated even more than critics did (if that’s even possible!). In addition to Worst Director and Worst Picture, AIRBENDER also “won” Worst Screenplay, a brand-new RAZZIE category for 2010, Worst Eye-Gouging Mis-Use of 3-D, and Worst Supporting Actor Jackson Rathbone (who had the misfortune to appear in both AIRBENDER and 2010’s other most-RAZZIE-nominated title, TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE).

No worries Jackson! We think you are awesome!!!

What is the purpose of this razzie award….I don’t get it. Deep inside it must make you feel awful………no actor goes into a project planning to stink it up. I actually saw the last airbender with my young grandson’s and thought Jackson did a good job, it was a neat movie…. I felt so sorry for Sandra Bulluck last year. She accepted the razzie with grace, while her life was turning upside down…….

Aw man Jackson! I don’t think he was the worst in his movie. But the movie itself didn’t do the cartoon justice at all. Just watch the cartoon.

I love the cartoon, but the movie is horrible. However, Jackson didn´t deserve this award. He was the best actor there.

My 10 yr. old LOVED the movie, which just goes to show if the Razzies included kids thoughts…Jackson wouldn’t have been in this pile of “crap”!!! I’m sure an actor knows when something kinda sucks, but to recieve an award in front of friends…as a slap of a reminder…well, that’s just FRICKEN UNCLASSY!

I hope this hollywood stuff doesn’t start affecting our “Twilight cast”. They all seem so grounded and thankful for their fan’s and blessings……..
