The Twilight Saga: Eclipse Official Illustrated Movie Companion came out today, loaded with tons of pictures and behind-the-scenes info about the film.

Have you snagged your copy yet? If so, what do you think? Are there are any parts inside it that make you particularly excited for the release of Eclipse in theaters tonight at midnight?

nope, none of those. there is a bookstore at the mall an hour away so my friend is checking in there for me. i told her that it was either going to have just kristen or rob and taylor on the cover and i didn't care what one she got me, lol so hopefully she will find one

Orlando… Cool! I'm in Louisville, Kentucky. I figured my friend and
I could check it out tonight in line. I also have the Twilight, New
Moon and as of last night, ECLIPSE movie trivia game on my Ipod touch!
I figured the Eclipse one would not be out for a while. Of course, its
hard to play since I have not seen the movie and it is based on the
movies and not the books. But we can play the Twlight and New Moon
games to pass the time!

& I know right , how come we can't get the same June 30th release like the US ? When new moon came out both the US and UK had the same release dates !

What's even worse that this is probably my favourite book out of the whole series and we have to wait an extra few days ! no fair !

I really wanna see it July 3rd / 4th but I have pledged to see it on the 9th !

You're not alone. I was planning a big Twilight slumber party for my daughter and her friends. We were going to watch TL, then NM on DVD, have some pizza and snacks then head to the midnight release around 9:00.

My daughter had difficulties in school this year and was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome, but it took us too long to figure out what was going on and she ended up failing 2 classes. Since she is now in summer school I had to cancel the party : (

I thought about leaving her home and going myself with a friend, like I did for NM, but I didn't want her to feel punished since we had made the plans to go together, and her failing wasn't entirely in her control. So, I'm being the good mommy and taking her tomorrow after class : )

Not me… I can't watch the midnight showing because i”m a different person and night. I'm grouchy and very cyncial. I trashed new moon after seeing at the midnight showing and love it when i saw it later. So I”m waiting until wednesday at 7:05 p.m.

Have you listened to it much? Usually after I hear something several times it starts to grow on me. IMO the Eclipse soundtrack is the best yet. There were a few songs I loved right away (Neutron Star Collision, My Love, & Heavy in Your Arms) and now the others have grown on me, too. I think they are trying to keep the style similar, with modern Indy bands, but also diverse, giving many different bands a chance. Of course Muse is the constant! I love Muse!

I know…its probably my favourite book too!! Im giving in…im going to the midnight showing on the 3rd…I just couldnt wait any longer!!!Well done on waiting. Also I want to know why we dont get Rob/Kristen/Taylor to visit the UK…after all we did give the film industry Rob!!

hmm kinda. it takes 10 mins at most to get from one side of my city to another. the stores we have are….price chopper, aldi, walmart, kinney's, rite aid, and then gas stations. that is it. lol

Aww.. My father-n-law is from Kentucky. He just passed away this Christmas. His family lived in Henderson and Louisville. You sound like you are all set for waiting in line, hon! Good planning. I won't see the movie until this weekend, but I am planning on devouring the guide to pass that time. And listening to all of your reviews, of course.

I was going to try to find the Stewy cover at Target tonight, but I don't think they carry it, either. I got the Rob/Taylor cover thru my subscription. Which I love. But now I am being greedy in my search for Stewy. LOL Good luck! I hope she gets one for ya.

I'm not going either, in France it's coming out on the 7th of july. I was planning to go this weekend to Belgium to see it, cause they release it there tonight, but plans got cancelled, so I'm going (hopefully) at the french premiere on tuesday…that's in 1 week, and everyone on this site will be talking about it and give everything away, so I'll try to keep away the next days even though it breaks my heart I'm so addicted to it and love everyone here.
