New pictures of what is supposed to be Xavier Samuel in character as Riley from the set of Eclipse.
I’m not sure what to think of these pics. They were found over at TwiFans.com but they are also on a twitter account that is apparently Xavier’s (it has not been confirmed by anyone as of yet).
They could be real, and from the Eclipse set. Maybe they are from his attack scene (when Victoria turns him) or when he is attacking humans (their blood is all over his body)?

Hi! I see everybody saying here that vamps don't bleed but if you have seen other vampire movies you will see they actually do. Old vampire legends say that humans can be only turned into vampires after being bit, if they drink vampire blood too. and so it is in True Blood. But in the twilight books of course it is different, Edward is described as bloodless. But it is actually not very logic …Who cares, he's hot!

Xavier is now one of my favs. The blood/ make up does not look %100 professional, but like everyone has said before me, if this is real it will likely look better on film.

But that's the point… this is Eclipse, of the book Eclipse.. its Stephenie's mythology… and they said in New Moon fight scene Edward's head gets cracked and it looks like marble and heals very quickly.
They need to stay consistent with the book series but even more of a duh.. they need to stick with how they show it in the movie series…

I am slightly worried if this is the battle scene… as someone else pointed out Stephenie never describes her vampires as being able to bleed or get bloody or even bruised for that matter…. the only other scene it could be is when he's turned and even as sadistic and evil Victoria has been described to be… I can't imagine it would have gone to this extent… especially if she was planning on making him her mate?

Maybe its an entirely different scene… maybe Rileys back story will be that Victoria stalks him planning on making him her mate but then he runs from her and is hit by a car so then she has to seize the opportunity to change him then all bloodied up from the car wreck.

Actually yes I did. The Kristen one was obviously the bomb. I could read Kristen interviews forever. And the Fangoria one was pretty good. They interviewed CW and he is always a hoot. People mag was a bunch of old stuff that we already know, but there were a lot of cool photos.

I'm really losing faith in the Eclipse movie. I hope all this Riley stuff that MR added (which the movie does not need!) will be cut in editing. I don't like the thought of Riley being the main character considering he's shown once in the book. Maybe I'm just being negative tonight…:P
I agree. Riley was at the end of the book and now he gets more air time. Why didn't they give more air time to the Cullen family or to the wolf pack. (They deserve it) Melissa has said that she wrote more for Riley than was in the book. I don't get it.
I don't get it either. But, like I said, let's hope this extra junk we don't care about won't make it past post-production.
Also, I hope the Cullens and the pack do get their fair share of screen time, because that's mostly all want anyway. Just the fantastic Eclipse Stephenie gave us.

I saw 30 Days Of Night yesterday and I take it that Eclipse-at least whatever has to do with the new borns and the battle will look spectacular,hence Riley's gory make up in that scene.
I'm pretty sure this is from Xavier's other movie, The Loved Ones. He gets tortured in that one. It was played at TIFF.
