Even with Spain’s Wold Cup victory last week, The Twilight Saga:Eclipse still dominated the country in amazing volumes. It’s official. Eclipse has taken over Spain.

Eclipse sweeps Spanish box office!

Last weekend was without a doubt Eclipse’s weekend. The movie took over 73% of the nation’s total box office. Not even Spain’s World Cup victory was able to make the smallest dent over the impressive figures of the third installment of The Twilight Saga, numbers that speak for themselves: over 1.34 million viewers and more than € 8,500,000 ($10,958,788.01 dollars in one weekend) were raised at the box office, which have made Eclipse the most successful and most watched film of 2010 in its first five days in theaters. The amazing commercial success of Eclipse confirms once again the loyal support from all the followers of the Twilight saga that keep enjoying the dangerous love triangle between Bella, Edward and Jacob.

This is what happens when a film appeals to all kind of audiences, keeping the identity of the book at the same time. Here in Spain, we,lovers of the twilight saga, have seen all the films but at the same time, as we say until now this is the best film of the saga…and non lovers of the saga go to see the film and REALLY enjoy it. hmmm does anyone have a reason why jacob running away was not at the end of eclipse? i mean that is kinda an important scene because thats why he isnt there for the beginning of breaking dawn. He cant just leave at the beginning BD and then come back like 5 minutes later! haha they just left him in eclipse sweating and crying on his bed. poooooooor jakey haha

doesn't surprise me, really. It's inevitable, can't be different.
But one question – how do you get the box office numbers. I searched the internet about German numbers and can't get a n y t h i n g!!! We had the Triples on July 10th (and boy they were sold out! and from July 14th previews and from July 15th the official opening. So it should give numbers. Where can I see them?

a lot of my friends were heaters, but NOw they accept the movie was so good, so they are now part of this numbers and a huge phenomenon never seen before, period.

My best guess is it will be implied that he “left” inbetween movies. It could be explained in one of Bella's voiceovers or when she talks to Seth in the beginning.
