Talented EclipseMovie.org reader Volturi_Fan made us a picture using Julia Jone’s eyes (aka Leah Clearwater) and the picture recently released of Jacob Black in Wolf form. She put the two together and voila – Leah Wolf!
What do you think? I think it looks awesome! She’ll probably bit a bit smaller in the movie as Edward described her as being a “smaller gray wolf”.

She does have the long dark hair and eyes so that's a plus as far as I am concerned! (I actually pictured a good friend of mine who is an Abenake NA to play the part… TALL, like runway model tall – dark almond skin, smooth and perfect – Long dark brown hair, almost black – AND FIERCE – like scary fierce when defending her friends and family)

How jaded do you think Leah is? She is what 17 in the books and grew up on a reservation loving only 1 man. I know Rose and Alice appear more wordly but even Bella looks innocent most of the time and she has seen more than Leah up until the wolves help fight the newborns…

That's why some people prefer Kristen and Taylor doing interviews together because everything is more calm and laid back. But the situations are completely different. When you are trying to purposely hide the fact that you are overwhelmingly attracted to and possibly in love with the person sitting next to you, it shows in a big way.

Julia Jones looks exactly like a Leah to me. Haven't see any of her acting, but from the look alone- perfect casting.
As for the fan art, it is fun to look at, but I really really prefer all the wolf pack in their human form. Something about it being hard to relate to CGI creations, I think.

Ok I realize what I said earlier was lame. So this is my revised version. – Post wedding. Jacob comes over to ask Bella if she is truly happy. She of course says yes. She tells him that he was merely a distraction. He takes offense and tries lashing out at her. Before he gets too close, Edward steps in and says he will break his neck. Jacob reaches his arm out anyway and Edward being so fast, snaps Jake's arm. The party stops and the other wolves show to back jacob up. Edward orders them to leave before he murders them. Angrily jacob grabs a bottle of Jack Daniels and storms out. He runs into Leah outside and offers her the bottle. They wake up in bed together the next morning. He forgets about Bella now especially since Edward turned her. Better to defend herself now. Is that too much? Thoughts, suggestions?

I read somewhere that Taylor said that we won't see him in his human form that much in Eclipse. I guess that is why we have seen more pictures of him on the internet lately, because he is not in Vancover shooting Eclipse. They are using CGI for his werewolf half for half of the movie. Your thoughts!

I'm so happy they changed how Jacob looks as a wolf, they probably changed Leah too. And this isn't fair, I'm pretty sure Leah didn't turn into a wolf until Eclipse. -.-

I love the series, and I think this goes for a lot of us, cause although there are all these mythical creatures adding excitment and intrigue, the core of the stories is easy to relate to. CGI wolves are really just a side blip to the things I really care about.
I know that Jake and the pack are in wolf form a lot in Eclipse and BD. I just hope the directors find a way to show all the emotional exchanges and internal dialogue between the wolves that works. It is a challenge. I don't know how I would do it.
That was actually my shorter revision, I was typing on my phone's tiny keyboard and my fingers were killing me. I was proofreading what I had said so it would make sense and my stupid finger slipped and hit the “END” button. I gasped and got pissed off. I threw the phone across the table in disgust. I didn't want to rewrite all that through an email. It was a real pain in the @#$@!

I know what it's like to write a 1000-word post and lose it. So what I do is copy it when I'm halfway done copy it a couple more times before the proofreading lol. And it hasn't happened since.
Ditto on this! Leah is my homey! She is the most realistic character in the books, and the MOST HUMAN (wolf or not). Shame on Sam, and Shame that she doesn't end up with someone better than Jacob or Edward, lol. TEAM LEAH ftw….and Julia = gorgeous!!!!!
