Will you play Victoria in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn”?

I don’t want to give anything away, but “Victoria has a life span,” is what I’ll say. [She laughs.] That’s all I can say about that.

What advice would you have for an actor who is doing a role that was previously played by someone else? A lot of people thought you handled yourself well in the controversy over your “Eclipse” casting.

We’ll see. The jury is still out, because Rachelle [Lefevre] really created an incredible character and is exquisite. I fell like the uproar that occurred was really appropriate, because part of the joy of seeing a franchise, it’s almost like a television series. You’ve seen the actors grow with the franchise. And [Lefevre’s] unavailability [to do "Eclipse"] was really, really, really unfortunate. Advice? Gosh. Just to do your best and be über-respectful. She won that role for a reason. I hope to honor everything that she created.

I love, love, love that part in the book. It's just awesome to see Edward take matters into his own hands and protect his love. I hope they don't change that scene and have Jacob there or something cuz it's great just how it is in the book where Edwards defends her all on his own other then Seth being there which is fine. I'm really looking forward to that scene.

Actually, I had thought the same thing when I watched it too. Like the shots of her face itself were quite brief flashes almost – after all they cut out a scene shot of her driving completely out. Could be so you just think “hair” and not face so much?

I do not like BDH. I have seen her a few movies and was not impressed. It's not so much the replacing of Rachelle – she jumped on the opportunity b/c Twilight is HUGE! It's b/c she was offered the role originally and turned it down b/c it was too small. Instead of doing her research – reading the books and seeing what a big role Victoria has throughout and realizing it could really be an awesome opportunity to develop the character, she said it wasn't a big enough role for her and moved on. That's crap.

And yes, I agree, she is very classy. I know many fans will remain loyal to Rachelle, but will be pleasantly surprised by Bryce in Eclipse. Personally, I wasn't 'in love' with Rachelle as Victoria until NM, but I don't think she is to blame *cough* MR *cough* – they also didn't make her hair red enough – it looked awesome in NM!

I figure it was just a typo but it keeps going on and it gets confusing. MS is usually in relation to Midnight Sun.

Other than that I'm enjoying all your comments. Eclipse is my favorite, too, and I'm both excited and nervous for how much ends up on screen.

I really don't appreciate her implication that Victoria will be in Breaking Dawn. WTF! This better not happen. First she doesn't take the part until the movie becomes big and when she's the main villain and now she implies false statements. Has she even read the books?! I miss Rachelle. Summit better not make such a change for Ron Howard's daughter because Twihards, such as myself, will not accept such a divergence from the book.

they deleted Rachelle scene the one that melissa was gushing all over back in july where Victoria was taking a road trip with snack and talking about james. I thought bryce did a good job in the village and she is good actress and one of my favs. I have really bad feeling about this. I want to see if she can do it. I know she will not be the same different actress, different style. After she said about the lifespan my mind was thinking VICTORIA DIES then I thought either flashesback which is not BD book OR a long shot but someone else. another character-maggie maybe. i know a long shot but you never know with studios. it wouldnt be the first time. I do feel like they are trying force us to like her. IDK Wait and see wait see judgement day is coming lol.
