Eclipse 200907221119 Interview with Xavier Samuel aka Riley in Eclipse xavier samuel riley Adelaide Now has a brief new interview with Eclipse actor Xavier Samuel, who was recently cast to play Riley–

“I was up against some truly great actors who I’m privileged to be considered among,” he said from Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles where he was celebrating last night.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity.”

Xavier explains he’d put together his audition tape in Sydney just three weeks ago, and flew to LA last Thursday.
“It all happened in less than a month!” said Xavier, who graduated from the Flinders University Drama Centre in 2005.

Absolutely. It just sounds too lame.

They should have more respect for the saga & for us, as they’re probably thinking the wider, newer audience they’re trying to attract won’t really notice or care.

They know the true fans will be there anyway & pay-up so we become an after thought!

Not cool… I am so disappointed to hear that Rachelle is being replaced I agree that there was no scheduling conflict, they have known for how long that Eclipse was going to start filming in August? How could something suddenly come up?? Sounds like Summit or David Slade wanted her replaced. Bummer they are doing this. I don’t like to see character changes during a series

Bummer no more HP character crossovers…. sad. I was just getting used to seeing “Deadric” sparkle and got all excited about the possibility of Draco sparkling too. He’d die though and that’s a huge bummer. I’ll just have to watch this cutie get torn to shreds by Edward and Seth.
