Again, no need to attack me personally. I was trying to have an adult conversation about this.

I'm not burning Bella at the stake (Edward's venom did that for her, sorry but LOL), and I never said that Edward or Jake didn't deserve the consequences of their actions. I thought we were talking about Bella. Also, I don't hate on women more than on men. That was unnecessary.

But since you asked, here are my two cents (and I'm saying it in the most sarcastic voice possible, so please don't get it wrong again):

Edward DID get his punishment. He's stuck with Bella for eternity.
Jake DID get his punishment as well. He is stuck with freak child.

So there you go. The only lucky character in this saga is Bella.

lol – yeah, maybe more than “just a bit.” I think I felt horrible for everyone in that book – Leah, Charlie (clueless of everything), and Billy too.

But at the same time, I can't blame Bella totally for how close her relationship got with Jacob. As far as she knew, when Edward left in New Moon, he was never coming back. On the other hand, she knew she didn't like Jake romantically and she kept the relationship going. BUT, Jake said he understood she didn't feel the same. I think the thing that irritating me the MOST was when Bella sobbed to Edward after she told Jacob she was choosing Edward. I really wished Edward would have just left her alone that night. I felt horrible for him.
