Thesp Jodelle Ferland (“Silent Hill”) is the latest addition to the “Twilight” franchise, joining “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” as a vampire who has just been turned.

Ferland was most recently seen in the CBS telepic “Pictures of Hollis Woods.” She can be seen next in the thriller “Case 39″ with Renee Zellweger.

Given her age and looks, I’m going to assume that she’s been cast for the role of Bree, who is described in the casting notes as–

Bree: 14-17, beautiful, 5′1″ – 5′3″, short dark hair, fair skin. Has a high pitched shrill scream. She is one of the newborn army who ravaged Seattle, killing many with her fellows under the guise of a serial killer.

Well she will have to cut that long brown hair quite short for Bree, I think it would be silly to give her a wig and to be honest I think she would look older if she added a bit of style to her hair . But I'm excited to see her portrayal of Bree.

Awe man, I see her as Jane, now when i watch Eclipse everythings gonna be messed up. Personally I think Dakota Fanning does not play Jane well at all, im not putting her talent down just that role. I see Jodelle as Jane not Bree but i guess shes gonna do good either way…sigh..still wish she were Jane though
