Thesp Jodelle Ferland (“Silent Hill”) is the latest addition to the “Twilight” franchise, joining “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” as a vampire who has just been turned.

Ferland was most recently seen in the CBS telepic “Pictures of Hollis Woods.” She can be seen next in the thriller “Case 39″ with Renee Zellweger.

Given her age and looks, I’m going to assume that she’s been cast for the role of Bree, who is described in the casting notes as–

Bree: 14-17, beautiful, 5′1″ – 5′3″, short dark hair, fair skin. Has a high pitched shrill scream. She is one of the newborn army who ravaged Seattle, killing many with her fellows under the guise of a serial killer.

I completely agree with you!! I imagined Bree as a younger kid!! I think Jodelle will be perfect! She's def. gonna nail the scary part and as someone mentioned earlier it will make it even more dramatic when the Volturi kill her because she does have that look of innocence.

Well, I do have a lot of different mixes. I have some Native American blood (not sure which tribe though. I need to figure out ancestry.com to find out for sure), German, Mexican, and Swedish. Well, the video came out pretty well, but the only word I'll have is the official word everyone gets…unless they call me before they release word. lol. My video was quite sarcastic.

I must say that this has gotten me very excited to see Eclipse now!
I'm still upset Rachelle won't be back, but I am willing to give Bryce a chance.

That pic is from when she was in silent hill… I believe she looks much older now.. and from what I've seen them do to Dakota Fanning in The Runaways… they can make her look plenty old enough… no worries people.. I'm sure she'll be fabulous…

I'm sort of surprised, I know it was open casting, they didn't require some sort of documentation. Just saying you were Native, and tribe affiliation. Even if it was for open casting stuff. *Shrugs*

Still pretty cool though. I thought of auditioning but I didn't have enough time to put a video together.

I think she would be a great Bree, as for her looking to young she looks to be about 15 in that larger pic. I am upset about the switch of cast for the role of Victoria though, I thought that Rachelle Lefevre did good. However I am willing to give Bryce a chance .

Don't think he's going to turn our vamps into the ones from 30 days of night though….but check out the directing. It's really good in that movie. If you watch the extras on 30 days of night you find out all the “night scenes” (which is pretty much the whole movie) were all shot during the day n sunshine…and it looks sooo real. you cant tell a difference at all…it was amazing. I really loved 30 days of night.

i didn't know where to audition otherwise i would, i'm about her age, but i look a little bit older…some people say i look fourteen or fifteen, i have long brown hair, brown eyes (but you'd be wearing contacts anyway even her) i'm 5'3' -the height range for bree- i'm a bit tanned but so is she, but i could look very white…and i can scream dude, i can scream loud, but i guess most people could. i don't know, a lot of people probably feel the way i do, but she WILL do well, she could easily be bree…and she does have acting experience…maybe i can score an extra part in bd:P
