Kellan Lutz On ‘Breaking Dawn’ In 3D!

Kellan Lutz appeared at the Cosmopolitan Magazine’s Fun Fearless Men 2010 party and chatted with MTV about Breaking Dawn in 3D.

“I heard they were talking about it. I don’t really care to see it in 3-D,” he told MTV News on the red carpet at Cosmopolitan magazine’s 2010 Fun Fearless Males party on Monday night in New York City.

Like Pattinson, Lutz isn’t a big fan of movies filmed in multiple dimensions. “3-D kind of hurts my eyes anyways. ‘Avatar’ was amazing in 3-D and in IMAX, but I don’t think I wanna see a little baby half-vampire in 3-D,” he said, echoing a similar sentiment made by Stewart. “There’s just some scenes I just wouldn’t want to see in 3-D.”

And with no formal announcement that more movies will be shot from the “Twilight Saga,” Lutz is in favor of breaking the book up into two flicks with “New Moon” helmer Chris Weitz back in the director’s chair, if the film should get the green light. “I’d love to see Chris Weitz come back,” he said late last year. “I just had so much fun shooting with him. I mean, obviously I would just love to do ['Breaking Dawn']. There’s no word. … Hopefully we get that phone call, and if they want to make it into five movies, I just don’t want it to end. I love my character so much.”

OK, I don’t think I want to see Breaking Dawn in 3D either BUT I wouldn’t mind seeing it on IMAX! Especially the honeymoons!

Nothing is final yet. they are most likely being told what to say. Who knows. We wont know til SCUMMIT gives the greenlight and things are already way. I agree with many of other ppls post I am getting tired of the waiting/guessing game. I want something from both Eclipse and BD NOW!! Yes I am getting very impatient.

Oh, I was one who went thru major Cullen withrawal the first time reading NM. Same, though, that when I went back the second time, I really paid attention to the wolf pack. I love Leah and Seth. Other than that, yes, it's all about the Cullens.

I think I will love a 3D movie. I mean it will be a PG-13 movie that's the only thing that I'm certain of. so they won't show very much details of the love scene, the birth scene or other violent scenes that I wouldn't like to watch in 3D.
So why not?? 3D movies are cool and after the first shock I really enjoy them.
But why discussing about 3D or not, if Summit is not even sure about the number of films or how to do the film (will Renesmee be animated or not??) ??

If Remember Me is PG-13 and they can show steamy love scenes (as I have seen it put) then d@mn it, they can have steamy love scenes in BD too. Just think ladies, Rob would not even have to wear a modesty patch for BD.

I will educate you….A film can be in development for on average a year this is where they are at now for BD the script is being written once an “organic” or “working spec script” is ready the project gets “green lighted”. Then the project/product goes to preproduction which can be up to a year this is where the spec script goes out to directors this is one of the first steps in preproduction. Once it has a director is “onboard” meaning contracted there other things will happen like crew picks ex. cinematographer, casting director, location manager, editor and etc. then they along with the director will do jobs like casting contracts, stunt contracts, location contract and permits, etc. The project is planned out for schedules, locations and storyboard, etc. After preproduction goes the filming/production itself which can take up to months after it is “in the can” or filming is done it go to postproduction which can go from weeks to years depending on the film. In post one of the most important jobs is film editor his/her job well the first job is to make a rough cut then work with the director for many different versions called directors cut. Usually the one we see released are the final or the director/studio favorite. After the final directors cut it is screen by the studio and producers and they have the FINAL SAY on what is put out to the public. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I don’t work in entertain but I know people who do or did.

there's a great story on that that i think SM will approve (except for the explicit sex lol) and is much better than her books in my opinion. called hands on me from nessie's pov on ff.net by independenceindividuality and from jacob's pov its called undeniable by the same author. i LOVE it! best ff ever!

im a patient person though. i keep myself entertained with FF and reading news on the cast and their individual projects. im more excited for the runaways to be honest lol.

im a habitual worrier too but not when it comes to this. unfortunately, money makes the world go round so i dont need confirmation from them. i knew BD was confirmed since new moon got 700million$ at the worldwide box office. hell BD has been confirmed since twilight got 300 million lol and they didnt expect that.

just cos their taking a while doesn't mean it wont be done.

and either way if it wasnt for the money it HAS to be made. cos eclipse is kind of a cliffhanger…well not really cos SM could've stopped but we need to see the wedding and SM hinted at renesmee and jacob imprinting in eclipse when they talked about quil imprinting on claire. besides, the fans would mob the summit studio LOL

The problem is that Remember Me has not the same fan hype as the Twilight Saga. There are many young girls who see the movies and I remember the fuss the media made about the kiss scene in Twilight because Kristen was only wearing panties.
But I hope that you are right.

I wrote this and I am still impatient. lol. I know it takes what seem to be a long time but with Eclipse something is wrong. To replace actors its ok especially before production beginnings(I truly wish Rachelle wasnt royally screwed over but as the saying goes sh*t happens) even in production it happens but to replace a editor mid way through post production something terrible has had to happen. The film editor and director relationship is one of the most important relationship esp. in post production. To take away DS go to guy is a bad decision because there is clearly a bond there and not with the studio replacement pick. Director and editor relationship takes time thats why an editor is 90% of the time chosen during preproduction so the relationship and logistics and chem. and artistic is settled out before the film is even shot and yes studio approves the plan before filming. yes plans and scripts can and will change. AJ has action experience and some a little romance drama experience. Summit is sugar coding this situation there is a reason why people like Nikki Fiche(sp?) and Marc Malkin and so many others have not come forward and its not because it aint nothing to worry about. More likely they being told not to talking or to sugar code it. No movies are like microwaveable dinners they are more like a White House Dinner planned over and over again every detail.

ah well. were not all patient enough i guess lol. i entertain myself through other stuff and since i know i can't do anything about it directly, either way, whether they take their time or not all we can do is wait and i have no doubt it will be done. maybe i just dont care enough cos i have more pressing matters to attend to or because its my least fave book i dont know lol.

as for eclipse editor: go read adora scott's comment on the post of the replace the editor. she's an editor herself and explains it really well.

true but AJ doesn't have enough experience and obviously summit didnt like something. remember when slade tweeted he needed to put in more e/b? maybe thats why they hired the woman, to fill in the romantic scenes. AJ's work won't be eliminated as adora explained in her comment. it takes too long to start over and were only 4 months away.

we really dont know the reason why. hell, it might be better now. the editing for twilight was much more clean cut than new moon. and when they mean a stronger edit, it just means they need to tweak a few things and make it more clean cut. as adora scott's comment explained. so before we jump the gun, i think we should all take some chill pills, get a massage, maybe do some yoga and meditation, and have faith. lol
