Eclipse kellan lutz love000x0400x536 280x376 Kellan Lutz Says Eclipse is More Masculine kellan lutz In a new interview with E!News reporter Marc Malkin, Eclipse vampire hunk Kellan Lutz (aka Emmett Cullen) says that he is more excited for Eclipse then New Moon due to there being more action in the film -

“Eclipse is a masculine movie,” Lutz says. “I love it. All the stunts I was able to do by myself. It’s an action movie!”

In fact, Lutz thinks the third installment will bring even more new fans to the franchise…

“It’s going to be one of those movies where guys who aren’t fans of the Twilight series but like seeing a good kickass action movie are going to see it. And they’re going to bring their girlfriends who are anti-Twilight because they don’t want to be on that bandwagon,” Lutz explains. “Then they’re going to come and fall in love with it, too.”

And Lutz is hoping it leads to…well, we’ll let him explain.

“I have a great team and we’re really focused on becoming that new action hero,” he says. “I want to be Jason Bourne…and take over that franchise. I love doing stunts and shooting guns and doing fight scenes.”

Which brings us to his action hero physique. Lutz insists he’s not a “workout fiend.”

“I go to the gym maybe once or twice a week for 45 minutes,” says the actor, who will also be seen in the upcoming remake of Nightmare on Elm Street. “I hate running. I eat whatever I want. I eat pizza all the time. I have a candy drawer.”

I am very excited for Eclipse! Can’t wait to see the first official trailer

I agree that Eclipse is a more 'masculine' movie with all the fighting, but it's also about love. This is the movie where Bella decides on who she really wants to be with, Edward or Jacob. All the heartbreaks, heartaches, and tears are going to happen in this movie, so I think Eclipse is suitable for everyone.

I think that Eclipse is the best of the series and the most romantic by a long shot!

Yes, BD has the wedding and Isle Esme, but “Compromise,” and “Fire and Ice.” Come on! Let's just agree and say that it is more of a guy/action movie and then we can convince our husbands or boyfriends to come too!

Duh!!! Of course Kellan likes Eclipse better. The Cullens are hardly in New Moon its all wolfy stuff…theres definitely more action in this one. Actually Eclipse is my favorite book of the 4. Unless of course Stephanie completes *cough* another one. I would be happy is she took some time to write a 5th book kicking Volturi @ss.

Yeah, I had a friend who asked someone to the prom that way… ended up the same. She fell in love with a vamp and eventually bore his children. This all happened a couple months ago, by the way lol.

I'm so tired of reading about the cast saying that it's a masculine movie..
Because it's really not, if you take a step back and look at the big picture…
It's really not, to be quite honest.

Clearly, they haven't seen internet message boards. Most Twi Haters I see in the Internet watch the movie because they're just “in it for the lulz”.

OK….here's what i came up with. new moon's first official trailer came out 5 months before the actual movie. so, if they do it again were most likely to see our eclipse trailer in january!!!!!

I just really hope they didn't shoot the movie like an action film, I'll be pissed.
I was already worried about this director. This is the most romantic out of the 4 and my favorite. Crossing fingers they did it right.
