I don’t know guys what do you think? I think I’m just always taken aback at how our precious saga has touched every piece of every country across the globe is what I think. I don’t know about that BD but the rest look pretty cool, New Moon looks the best though. Check out Breaking Dawn, so it that 800 Japanese Yen? Someone do the math and let us know, how much is that in U.S. and Canadian and British pounds.

I've tried reading the books in spanish and its just not the same. The qoutes that we love so much dont sound right or the same effect. I wonder if its the same in other languages?
I'm not thinking the 800 is Japanese Yen because that would mean Breaking Dawn costs 8.93 in USD, 9.48 in CAD, and 5.53 in GBP. The covers still look AMAZING though.

I really like the Eclipse cover. It looks like someone has read it alot.
It almost looks like the Twilight and New Moon covers are more modern.
I tried reading it in Dutch from my cousin's book and it was soooo awful! I stopped after two pages.. I needed my original Twilight book in English and some Midnight Sun to get over it… LOL (ok, I'm overreacting, but it WAS awful

I LOVE them! Can the US buy them? I want them, just for the cover, might end up being a collectors item. My fav is the BD one.
I like them a lot, they're so vintage and pretty. But I generally don't like seeing people on book covers. That's why I like the apple, tulip, ribbon, etc black/white/red motif of the original covers so much. I like to imagine on my own how characters would look rather than have them shown to me on the cover.
Too bad now all I see are Kristen, Rob and Tay when I re-read. Oh well.
ummm it's korean so it's not 800 “yen” but rather 800 “won” (yen = japanese currency and won = korean currency)
and i agree that it's probably the library coding system because 800 won is about $0.70.
If 800 is in fact talking about money, Korean system is “won.” That would mean these books are less than $1.00 USD. Little over a 1000 won is about a dollar. So idk what this numbering is
The 800 is in won, the currency of Korea. Books are ridiculously cheap over there. Just one of the things I liked when I lived there.

) yeah, cousin's, in danish. And it was aaaaaawful! The translation was terrible. and it was not at all the same thing.! I hated it, and have never touched any danish version again!

the more I look at them, more they grow on me…I love them…I've always loved the Korean/Japanese/Chinese culture and the way think and live and rationalize and especially, their talent…so I love it…I've been to south Korea and I was to impressed with the way they think and how organized they were (it was a special occasion) and the words they used, how smart etc etc etc…I loved it

I know. Twilight is supposed to be read in it's original language! Everything else just feels weird, and akward & terrible! Yeah, some of the parts I just really laughed like “rofl” but I still couldn't get over it!

Uh… I'm korean. letting you know that most likely is NOT the price. Prices are usually on one of the covers, either inside or on the back cover.
That's just like a serial number kind of thing. Like the lirbary dewey decimal system? Korea's book stores are very organized. They have to be because they dedicate a large section to school work books and stuff (different from work books here) and they all look the same, so they have to go by spine.
Btw, you just typed korean titles yet you said that was 800 JAPANESE yen??? It's won, and 1000 won is about a dollar

I'm Korean and that is not the price of the book. It is some library number thingy :S I just searched the price of Breaking Dawn and it is about 14400 won, which is about little less than 8 pounds
I'm agreeing with Rachel K. Thats definitely an organizational code they use in the book stores.
The Twilight series usually go for 14000-14400 won in Korea so we're looking at an average of:
12.53 U.S dollars
8.90 Euro
Am I the only one who loves Eclipse book cover the best? *finds that everyone is staring in disbelief* What? I like New Moon cover but it just seems so… blah with the black and gold. Eclipse, on the other hand, has that fancy cloth/parchment background which makes it authentic.
I'm not too sure with Breaking Dawn cover, too. The blue doesn't match at all with the dark brown/moss green on the edges and as you can see, the color drowns out the title and makes the manga picture of Edward and Bella paler in a bad way.

Korean money is not called YEN it is WON pronounced like WAN. Just thought I'd state that fact….I'm very protective of my Korean heritage….anyway I agree with the prices you posted.
