you know it's strange how fans of a star can hear things the way they want.
i read a post on you tube the other day, and a hard core Kristen Fan was just praising Kristen on how great she did cherry bomb,
and Bashing Dakota Fanning. they thought kristen was singing the song and the no talent Dakota fanning was just nasty at her small part of saying cherry bomb cherry bomb.
when it was pointed out that it was Dakota singing the song and kristen was the one with the cherry bomb part they refused to believe it

well it gets to be a pain when your a fan of Dakota's and she is playing the lead role in this movie.
the world of twilight thinks Kristen is the shit i'm a fan of both but i like Dakota more and she should get the respect that she has spent her life working on.
Dakota did a fantastic job on all 4 tracks. Kristen did good on 2

hmmmm i am not only a fan of kristen because she is in Twilight. i have been a fan of hers since i saw her in Speak. and seeing how Kristen only sang on 2 of the songs of course she would only do good on 2, the other one she only sings Cherry Bomb…so you can count that one.

I did find out, though, that a lot of the crazy guitar rifts were played by Lita Ford, not Joan, so unless they changed it for the movie, Kristen won't be playing the real crazy ones… She's still great, though! Dakota too!!

LOL … wow. They apparently need to do their homework on The Runaways. I know people that absolutely despise Kristen, but know that Cherry Bomb is Cherie's song.

Don't hate me please please! I love Kristen a lot but she doesn't sound too good sorry, it sounds man-like in this song but Dakota made this song sound modern with a 70s' edge to it. I am in no way bashing Kristen, I think she has a great voice but she's trying too hard to be rock n' roll but she should stay pop punk because her voice would suit it much better. I hardly know anything about TR but I know the basics. I prefer the modern rock stuff better but if Kristen is singing the way Joan Jett did, then she did a great job but it's not my thing.

Kristen sounds better in Queens of Noise, although I don't like the song much but I still like the Runaways, not for the music but letting girls rock and being the formation of the modern rock stuff out now!

The whole point is that Kristen is playing Joan Jett so that is why she is singing just like Joan. She would have been slaughtered if she hadn't stayed true to Joan's style.
