Kristen Stewart on Renesmee: “She Can’t Just Be This Scary Superhuman Teeth Baby!”

MTV.com has a new interview with Kristen Stewart during the Sundance film festival. Kristen, along with fellow Eclipse cast mate Dakota Fanning, attended the film festival to promote/premiere their new movie The Runaways.

In the interview Kristen talks all things Breaking Dawn and little Renesmee -

“I don’t even know if it’s going to be one [film] or two, or who is directing it, or when it’s even going [to start],” she admitted. “I know that it’s going to go, but not when yet.”

The most important issue facing Kristen’s character is the birth of Edward and Bella’s baby daughter Renesmee. In Stephenie Meyer’s novel, Renesmee’s birth is so graphic that Bella nearly dies but is ultimately converted into a vampire and saved by Edward. While the scene is currently unwritten as far as the “Breaking Dawn” script goes, Kristen is eager to learn how it will translate from book to film.

“I haven’t seen a script, but I’m not alone in really, really wondering how they’re going to handle that,” she said.

As important as the birth scene itself is the baby that is born. Will Renesmee be played by an actual baby or will she be given the CGI treatment? It’s a tricky question that Kristen doesn’t have an easy answer for, but one thing is certain — Renesmee has to be adorable.

“Little Renesmee, she’s got to be cute,” said the actress. “She can’t just be this scary superhuman teeth baby!

That little girl whether she ends up being CGI, or played by an actress and partial CGI — HAS to be cute!! Super cute! Like the cutest kid … ever!

I think everyone whether they're “wolf” girls or “vampire” girls have their own impression of imprinting. I'm not a fan of it, I think it's horrible actually but I know many wolf girls who like it or don't mind it one bit.

I don't think there is anything wrong with liking, heck loving some aspects of the series and being totally disappointed with other aspects. I hope they follow the story as close as possible but it doesn't take away the fact that I personally think the ending was lame. As do a lot of people.

lol-glad I'm not alone! How can you not love Jacob? I'll admit the FIRST
time I read New Moon, I kinda glossed over the midsection in a trance
waiting for Edward to come back and didn't really give Jacob the chance he
deserved, but after reading Eclipse & BD, I was totally taken with Jacob and
re-read New Moon much differently. I can totally see why Bella had such a
hard time letting Jacob go.

To those who love the characters including renesmee and are dedicated to the saga, all four books it's Team Nessie. To those who do not love Renesmee and wish she would go away or simply did not exist it's Team Tough luck because like it or not she is here to stay.

“icky” “demon spawn” whatever deragatory remarks you feel the need you have to refer to her as, she is still Jacob's future soulmate/wife.
And I'm 100% sure that I can speak on his behalf, Edward and Bella, Team Nessie and SM, who created Renesmee long before you or anyone of us knew that the twilight world existed, and say that they could not give two flying monkeys what anyone thinks of her. Because no amount of hating on her is going to make her go away.

Yes how unfortunate that jacob got his happy ending. Maybe SM shoud have let him continue suffering over someone who does not want him or ever will. Then that would have been real fortunate.

Gypsy – you and I see the series totally differently and that's okay. Why do you have such a problem with that? And you know what? SM could care less what EITHER of us think, love or hate the spawn. I'm not the only one who thought she dropped the ball with the fail ending that is BD but that's what makes this series so intriguing…we all have our own opinions on it.
What fun would it be if we all agreed on everything here anyway? And when the topic comes up again I'll say the same thing I have before because that's what these forums are about. So how about you “deal” with it?

I was reading that scene yesterday. She did not actually outrun edward he let her. She thought she did and was proud of herself but the joke was on her. After the incident with the humans she starts running away from the human scent not to attack he catches up to her quickly and then all of a sudden she stops like “Wait a minute….she gets upset when she realized that edward let her win. That was so cute here she should be concerned that she could have aattcked a human and she more upset about edward letting her outrun him When they ran back to the house he was beating her until they got to the river and she leaped. He is still faster she is just stronger. There were so many cute moments when they were hunting.

Woah, I was totally kidding so no I was not upset (that's why I tacked in “LOL” and a smiley face)..and those that know me here understand that my intentions weren't bad. I've joked around with several people here about the Renesmee/Demon Spawn thing (somebody else made it up, not me!).

If you make a comment here there is the potential you're going to get a reply…that's why there is the reply button. I didn't get the memo you and I were off limits. I think that's silly to think that. I know we don't agree on practically anything regarding the books but that doesn't mean I don't like you. I just don't get where the defensiveness is coming from…where the “Deal with it” comments keep coming from? If you want to pretend I don't exist here fine. I'll ignore you too I guess. Sorry it has to be that way though (and that isn't sarcasm, I'm truly sorry you can't look beyond our differences).

I completele agree. Isle Esme is really the most important. I don't have too many opinions on BD actually. As long as Jake doesn't come off looking like a pedofile, Edward doesn't turn into a pushover and Bella still saves the day in one way shape or form I will be happy.

And if all of that happens but Isle Esme makes me want to run to the little girls room for some private time, I'll still be happy!

After discovering what they can do with motion capture these days, such as in Avatar, I'm sure they can figure something out.
