Kristen Stewart on Renesmee: “She Can’t Just Be This Scary Superhuman Teeth Baby!”

MTV.com has a new interview with Kristen Stewart during the Sundance film festival. Kristen, along with fellow Eclipse cast mate Dakota Fanning, attended the film festival to promote/premiere their new movie The Runaways.

In the interview Kristen talks all things Breaking Dawn and little Renesmee -

“I don’t even know if it’s going to be one [film] or two, or who is directing it, or when it’s even going [to start],” she admitted. “I know that it’s going to go, but not when yet.”

The most important issue facing Kristen’s character is the birth of Edward and Bella’s baby daughter Renesmee. In Stephenie Meyer’s novel, Renesmee’s birth is so graphic that Bella nearly dies but is ultimately converted into a vampire and saved by Edward. While the scene is currently unwritten as far as the “Breaking Dawn” script goes, Kristen is eager to learn how it will translate from book to film.

“I haven’t seen a script, but I’m not alone in really, really wondering how they’re going to handle that,” she said.

As important as the birth scene itself is the baby that is born. Will Renesmee be played by an actual baby or will she be given the CGI treatment? It’s a tricky question that Kristen doesn’t have an easy answer for, but one thing is certain — Renesmee has to be adorable.

“Little Renesmee, she’s got to be cute,” said the actress. “She can’t just be this scary superhuman teeth baby!

That little girl whether she ends up being CGI, or played by an actress and partial CGI — HAS to be cute!! Super cute! Like the cutest kid … ever!

I agree. First and foremost was that I wanted Jacob happy with a normal girl and Bella working to stay friends with him. And right behind that I was irritated she couldn't expand a little on Leah and give her a happy ending. Poor girl suffered a lot of sh*t, she deserved it!

oh god that would so awesome and seeing Emmetts expression when Bella beats Emmett at arm wrestling and yeah ha ha ha ha when she out runs Edward I was laughing my a$$ off when Bella beat Emmett at arm wrestling and yes in a tight dress oh yeah definitly:) that is going to be priceless I am looking forward to that as well:)

Really, you guys? Wow, I guess I'm in the minority. I love Jacob's POV (even though I'm Team Edward)…there's just something about Jacob I have a soft spot for, and I love his sarcasm and the way he wears his heart on his sleeve. That's why I love this site, though…we all share the same passion (Twilight), but we have differing opinions to share. Makes life interesting!

I think I may appreciate it more now that NM the movie came out. When reading through the series, I was not at all a fan of Jacob. But Taylor played the role really well in NM so I think if I go back and read the series now I might like Jacob's character better.

Taylor really nailed it, I agree. It's so obvious that he really studied the character from the book and didn't rely on MR to paint the character for him in the script alone (thank goodness).

I'm so glad we have the actors we have in these movies…otherwise the saga would be totally destroyed by MR, I think.
I'm just PRAYING that the cast and director, once again in Eclipse, save the movie from the script.
