We asked and she answered. Here’s what Ms. Stewart had to say…

“They haven’t asked me to do it,” Stewart said, while hanging out in a suite at L.A.’s Luxe Hotel, where she’s been promoting her new rock n’ roll flick, The Runaways.

Even so, would she do it?

“I would love to say yes for sure, but that is really really scary,” she said. “I am so critical of myself and then also of people who are on the show. It’s like, ‘Nope, you’re not funny—next!’”

I would LOVE to see KStew host SNL! But I would LOVE it even more if Robert Pattinson hosted it with Betty White!!!

i dont know if they'd succeed or not, i think rob can pull it off but it would make them very uncomfortable. its so not their element. taylor was great though. but you can tell he was nervous. yet he was born to be in the spotlight. he handles it so well or if he doesnt at least he hides it well.

I agree. I think through our stalking, we've observed enough about them to know this would be hard to pull off.

However, I do think it would be funny to Rob and Betty White hosting together! XP

I think a person has to be kind of seasoned to pull off a really great SNL schitck. I think Taylor Lautner did a pretty good job, but he doesn't mind being in front of the camera and making fun of himself. Kristen is just now over the past few months learnig to smile more and have some fun…not to mention trying to keep her hands out of her hair!

I think you need both Kris and Rob together… with a skit including Betty White… Kris being Team Jacob and Betty being Team Edward!!!! Or both being Team Edward getting into a cat fight… ROTFL…… That would be PERFECT!

I think she's a tad too introspective to pull off a lot of it. but you gotta admit it would be seriously interesting to see her in some of the skits.. just to see what she COULD do with it.. actually Rob too.. because he IS funny ..

TAylor and Kristen are always funny with each other on interviews (notice how there is a wolf in the mix and suddenly it becomes fun and light*cough* *cough* HHahahha. JK *cOugh* ) I'd bet they'd work well in a skit together.

Anyway.. JUst thought I'd give my very LOUD opinion this fine morning at *looks at clock* 9:25 p.m. And now let me shut up and go bite someone.

I think that she could pull it off but I understand what she means. SNL is a big deal and someone who gets nervous like she does might not do well at it. But I would watch it either way.

I agree. I think it would be too forced for them. Rob is witty, of course, but he does not need to be in a skit with five other people to prove that. Stewy is, by far, the worst choice. She has a hard time conveying her thoughts out into complete sentences, which, of course, I find endearing. However, that could be a problem in front of a live audience, trying to be funny. Taylor was brilliant and worked with what lame material was given to him. He is a natural. Stewy? I would be proud of her no matter what, of course.

That's what it is! Thank you! The material is always lame. Taylor was amazing at making it work, however. I refuse to watch anymore. I love the old episodes with Gilda and the gang. That was great tv!

haven't watched SNL in years, actually, but I had to tune in to support
Taylor. And, lo and behold, they ran the whole Tiger Woods issue into the
ground…good grief. But, Taylor was great!

That is the first time I had watched in ages, as well. I was very proud of Taylor. Kissing that Edward notebook was classic! Adam Sandler, Mike Myers, Molly Shannon. Yes, they were all great, too.

The Twilight skit was definitely my favorite one of the night. I thought
Taylor did a great job poking fun at himself and the entire phenomenon. It
made for a great laugh.

I loved Taylor during that skit. I really bought into that he was a chick for those few minutes. The pouting lips, the clothes, playing with his hair. He was so passionate about Edward, you couldn't help but love him.

It would be hilarious if Rob showed up and surprised us when Betty White is hosting. I would die.

I don't think Kristen is ready for SNL but I'd support her if she did it.
