I know some people are not like-ing the wig since it looks too fake and not real, but I really think people are taking this way beyond the extreme. I got to say I also love Kristen's natural hair, but there is really nothing we can do about it. I still see her as Bella with real hair or with a wig. I'm just glad we got to see a picture of her, yet I was also hoping for hair extensions. Either way I won't complain about the wig because at least what should matter is that they are trying their best to satisfy us fans by trying to portray the characters as closely as possible and filming the movies for us. As the look on Kristen's face, she does seem tired, she needs some rest!!!!. Btw thanks for the picture scenes. With that I'm happy.

The wig is okay. I just wish she could have wore a wig for the Joan Jett movie. I know it was an important film for her but the Twilight saga is a SERIES and it's important she has continuity in her character's look.

Not really complaining, she's a natural beauty and a good actress, so I think she will pull it off well.

I'm hopeful. Maybe it will look better in other pictures.

I think I understand her feelings about the Joan Jett role–her chance to portray a real-life person. It just seems to me that since Twilight is a series of movies, for continuity sake she might have considered doing something less drastic with her hair for the single movie role.

I know she owes us nothing, but it would have been nice to at least give the illusion she cares.

kristen is beautiful with the wig or without it. it's not horrible, but i'd have to get used to it. i think she looks younger and innocent than she did with the joan jett look. looks like a wig but it'll be fine, i'm more concerned about the movie [acting&directing] than an actors hair looking real or fake. jasper & rosalie's wig looked fake in NM but i didn't complain about that.

I agree, it looks so much more like Bella than the JJ hair does. I think, in general, that wigs are difficult to make look like natural hair. And it might look even better once it hasn't been flattened down by her graduation cap.

I think, I'm not sure though…but I think I've read somewhere that they tried the wig for Joan Jett hair before and it didn't look good. So there was that option before. I guess with her hair underneath and how specific Joan's hair is it could never work.
I'm sure it was all arranged with Eclipse producers and who ever is in charge. I mean I doubt she cut it without talking to them too.

I know people entitle their opinions. But some of these comments are so ridiculous. You don't go to the movie to look at the hairline or compare whether her hair turns darker than the previous film. I know we all are exciting and anticipated to see her new hair, but don't make a big deal out of it. And if you don't like the hair style, so what…. Bella just likes to change the new style and she doesn't like to have bang or whatever we want…. She is not the only one wearing wig on this film. The first thing, I see in her picture, is that Kris looks very young, very pretty and surprisingly innocent compared to the edgy Joan look just few weeks ago. I think she looks much younger than Rob.

I'll admit, I'm not perfect, and I have said something mean about Kristen before. It was during Comic Con. I DID post a negative comment about her behavior.

But in general I try and just be positive, or if my comment is negative, I just try and make it funny or witty instead, just like you mentioned.

I do agree that she looks a little tired in this photo, but that doesn't have ANYTHING to do with her hair, or her wig. I may not be her biggest fan, but even I”m not gonna blame the wig, LOL!

She might be tired due to:
1. Working long hours on three movies back to back to back with no break
2. Staying up late with her co-stars (romantic or friends)
3. Doing drugs

I have no clue if these might be the reason, but her history leads me to believe that's probably why. In any case, she is probably having the time of her life. Everyone in the cast seems to adore her, and I think that's great that they are all becoming such close freinds.

I think kids are growing up in a much more negative society than I grew up in. It's like that “Mean Girls” mentality. Everyone is just SO hypercritical of each other, and so competitive, that all they know how to do is critisize each other for any tiny little fault. I think that's pretty evident, here, where a WIG or RED CONTACT LENSES can evoke such negativity. It's sad, really.

She said it was playing one of her all time heroes – I reckon it was the JJ role. She said it would be the most important movie so far for her personally.

Also, Kristen's the star of the film. Of course we're gonna dissect ever aspect of her until we get the REAL Bella. Taylor had such a minor role in that film, his hair didn't matter.

And I actually liked her hair in Twilight. It looked like she went to the salon everyday, which I didn't mind.

Glad to be of assistance, if Summit had not gotten their hands of Twilight, there would had been no Kristen as Bella, no Rob as Edward. No Taylor as Jacob. As for filming they one after the other, well they vampires, and Rob will not be looking seventeen forever. So it's not money, it's timing.

I also agree that it would have been so much better if she had worn a wig for the Joan Jett role. The Twilight role is much more important in popularity; but I guess for Kristen, as an actress, the Runaways role meant a lot to her. I really hope she changes her real do anyway, at least dying it brown; I never liked the black mullet, but like everybody said, it was for a role, bla bla bla… I hope she doesn't keep it that way in real life!!!

You never saw JUST her “natural hair” in the movies…they have always augmented her hair with extensions, mostly the clip on sort, to give her hair the volume she needed. The extensions have been visible on some of the snapshots taken on set. The truth of the matter is they CAN'T do that now because her natural hair is heavily layered now, and Bella's isn't. the only choice they had was to put a wig on her. I personally think it looks more heavy at the forehead then Kristen's did before she cut it. She had a very slight layering around her face and the wig doesn't seem to have that.

Personally, I wish they would have put a wig on her for the Joan Jett gig, and left her natural hair alone. It was pretty. =(

I agree with your breakdown! If they tried to put extentions in her hair, it would look majorly f-ed up – B Spears style. Especially if she's running around and the wind is blowing her hair – we'd be able to tell she has extentions in. The wig is great – I agree about it looking a little heavy near the forhead also. But it will work!

Bella only where's dresses when Alice more or less stuffs her into one, so she wouldn't ware a dress for the cliff dive scene, spec. since she was hanging out down La Push and planning on cliff diving with Jake anyway. Although a dress would be all fluttery and look effective when she was falling.

In the sneaky peak there was like only a nano second of under water and it was all obscured by bubbles and foam and Kristen thrashing around but i think she was wearing jeans and a t shirt, normal Bella garb

It would be good to have the angry Charlie, ISABELLA MARIE SWAN! but they'll probably end the movie on a lighter note. Although I can't think of any after she finally realises Edward does love her, and there's the whole Cullen vote and threatening to move out of Charlie's after that.

I didn't go to see bandslam, because I didn't think it was worth spending $8. I am glad you enjoyed the movie and the trailer of New Moon. I saw the trailer after the movie came out. I thought the scene where Jacob comes to talk to Bella in her room was awesome. Again I think the wig looks just fine. Actually, when you look at Twilight and the footage from New Moon the wig looks quite similar to her real hair. People just need something to bitch about. Fans are being overly critical of the wig because they know she has short hair. I think that many fans would complain no matter what. Thanks for replying back and keep in touch.

I know the cinema is so expensive these days, i don't know how much it is in dollars but it cost me £6.50 to go see it, it was Sunday afternoon and they were running their peak rate for some reason. There was only about 20 of us in there. I have to catch my trailers in the cinema though because my conection is aweful and videos take about ten minuets to appear and then play one second evey minuet so i've given up on trying to watch them.

Glad you enjoyed the trailer, i'm counting down the days till Nov 20 not long now it's already Sept 5th
