i am so excited for eclipse…even more excited than i was for new moon. I’ve seen new moon way too many times, i have to admit its starting to bore me, but the book kinda bored me. I still don’t like how they portrayed bella and jake’s relationship in new moon. I think melissa rosenburg and especially kristen stewart gets the whole story wrong.

I’m reading eclipse again though and my excitement is rising, but then i just keep thinking about all the stuff that can go wrong. Kristen stewart is a great bella but she always seems to think that bella loves jake more than i think she really does. Bella’s love for jake cannot even be considered love in my mind. It’s like bella makes herself in love with jake just so that she doesn’t hurt his feelings. All of their dialogue in eclipse wraps around them having a couple laughts, but mostly her trying to calm jake down or trying not to hurt his feelings. If there is one instance where i hate bella, it’s when she is with jake cuz she acts so pathetic with him. There are on the beach walking and she will hold his hand just so she doesn’t hurt his feelings. Like she hurts his feelings more by not discouraging jake enough. I was happy that jake accepted that even after bella told him he loved him that she was still gonna be with edward….he was just happy to know that bella loved him and that was enough for him. But still, i don’t buy what is written in the book…i don’t think she is in love with him. Its like she almost forced herself to be in love with him just cuz she finally couldn’t take hurting his feelings anymore…and well thats not love at all. Thats just being a people pleaser. Jake might be a good kid at heart but i still can’t stand him when he is trying to win bellas heart. Jake has many more flaws that edward and people on team jacob amplify edwards flaws, but in the end u can say that both characters love her. However, there is a big difference that makes edward the better man for bella in the end. Notice how i stated edward was the better man for bella. Im not gonna argue if edward or jacob would be the better man for you ladies cuz everyone is different. Since everyone is different that is why there is all this team crap going on. Then there’s the people on a team just based on who they think the hotter guy is…and im not really gonna get into that argument but i will say that people need to stop thinking taylor is jacob and edward is rob and bella is kstew. I love them all, but when it all comes down to it, the movies will never be better than the book and they only portray versions of the characters we love. Rob plays edward too depressed half the time. Taylor isn’t tall and towering as jacob is supposed to be and the kid puts on a much nicer version of jacob, which was annoying at points in new moon (but that’s not his fault, its rosenburg’s pathetic script skills and her horrible interpretation of this love triangle thing). And then kstew probably is the worst (even though i love her) in that she is just as bad as MR at interpreting the books…she is a more pathetic version of bella at times. I love them all but when i read the books, i just wish they stuck truer to the emotions stated in the book rather than portraying what they think their characters should be like.

But back to my point of what makes edward the better man for jacob cuz this discussion literally annoys the crap out of me that people actually argue that jacob should be with bella. I don’t even see how u can enjoy the books if u feel that way b/c quite frankly when bella and jake are together its the most boring dialogue that u can ever read in the twilight books. Bella is just jacob’s first crush and anybody can relate to thinking that u love somebody so much that u over-emphasize ever feeling u have about them b/c in ur mind u truly feel that u should be with them but in the end u find out that there is somebody else out there who is better for u. Anyways, back onto my point. WIth edward and bella, edward is 100% concerned about what bella wants (and don’t come back and tell me about the small instances where edward was controlling..i hate when people amplify that he was controlling cuz its simply not true)…edward is always trying to please her, edward doesn’t think he deserves her, edward can’t live in a world without bella, edward is ready to give her up at any second to jacob b/c when it all comes down to it, he just wants her to be happy. Edward is so concerned with bella’s happiness. And for god sakes in BD, he wants jacob to convince bella to have a normal baby with him b/c edward just can’t stand to see her suffer and if she really wanted a kid that bad, she could have a baby with someone more human like jacob. Now onto jacob…i have come a long way with jacob. I have always liked him in BD, but in new moon and eclipse i utterly despise him. I wish death upon him in new moon and eclipse cuz i am just too hooked on edward and bellas love and he just always gets in the way. Jacob loves bella, he really does but not in a way that is healthy and in the end its not true love. U may want to say that edward and bellas relationship is healthy cuz everyone wants to modernize their relationship to teen love and 21st century love, but the media and critics get it all wrong, their relationship is not unhealthy and their love is the truest love that u could ever have. Their love is mesmerizing. Jacob’s love for bella is unhealthy cuz though he loves her and would protect her, he always thinks about himself first. Bella is always the one that ends up pleasing him so he gets his way or doesn’t have his feelings hurt. Jake really nevers tries to please bella half the time. He thinks he is the better man and he thinks he deserves bella which is way too cocky in my mind. He wouldn’t kill himself in a world with no bella, but he’d sure use the excuse to get bella to feel so terible that she feels the need to kiss him and tell him that she loves him (i think her love for him is fake and out of guilt…but even if she does love him, love is such a weak word in the world of twilight, cuz what bella feels for edward is so much stronger than love; bella is not in love with edward, its something so much more than that). I know its custom for people to root for the underdog, but i show no sympathy towards jake cuz he knew how bella felt and he didn’t imprint on her for god sakes so he knew right there that she wasn’t his true love, he just wouldn’t admit it to himself b/c he is naive and immature and face it i think he just wanted to win the game of who gets bella’s love in the end. The key to bellas heart was always such a game to jacob and that was so annoying. And why would u want to be with someone that would never totally commit themselves to u…he had to know that bella would never love him as much as she loved edward. Jacob was just too inexperienced with women…i dont think he interacted with enough women as a child, b/c if he did have more experience with women and more insight on the world, he would have known that there are other women out there that are better for him. Bella was just one big crush but he was too stupid and naive to see that, but when ur young, u don’t realize all the stupid decisions u made until u grow up. So in the end, edward is the better man for bella. Is he the better man for everyone..no, of course not….everyone is different and while more peope would want an edward to love them, there are gonna be people that see the good in jake and be gravitated towards him.

Im just really hoping that they don’t mess up eclipse. Im hoping that edward doesn’t look so depressed this time around and jake look so happy. Cuz the roles are kinda reversed in eclipse…edward is a happier cuz he has bella back in his life, yet he is also overprotective in eclipse knowing that newborns and victoria are coming for the one he loves. As long as kristen and rob and taylor find a way to portray that bella is more in love with edward i will be happy…cuz if they make it seem that bella belongs with jake i will be furious. Im tired of people misinterpreting the books…its not that hard to understand them so why does rosenburg and rob and kristen and taylor have such a hard time understanding the books at times. I have high hopes for eclipse though and MR said she worked harder on this script than any of the others, so lets hope she got it right. New moon had most of the emotions right, but in the end it made jake seem like the nicest, best guy in the world and that just annoyed me.

hahaa and when us everyday humans agree to marriage we dont have forever .. so why should they be criticized for getting married so soon? if i had this guy that i was in love with and he loved me too and i knew we could make it thru anything.. id want the rest of our lives to start as soon as possible
