Some non-romance related updates for you Twi-Hards, this has to do with shooting location in response to the daily flurry of emails I receive for production information related to the 4th and possibly 5th movie(s).

You’ll recall I was the first to report that due to provincial tax credit drama and competing incentives, Portland became a more viable location. Despite reports elsewhere, as of this weekend, no final decision has been made. Having said that, Vancouver remains Summit’s first choice even though the tax credit situation has yet to be sorted.

My sources tell me exclusively Summit representatives met with the BC government just before Christmas to see if a favourable arrangement could be worked out. That meeting concluded with NO commitments from government officials who explained that they were not prepared to look at any new tax structure until after the Olympics. Summit was hoping to make a decision sooner.

Further, many crew members who worked on Twilight New Moon and Eclipse are now working on the new Fox show Human Target (shot in Vancouver) which enjoyed a solid debut the other night. As of two days ago, those crew members have not been informed of any movement to go back to Twilight. Yet.

There’s been some buzz among certain local special effects firms that a contract is coming, anticipating a June start date. The timing is encouraging for those lobbying for a Twilight return. This would allow for 3 months of prep before principle photography in September. So it looks promising… but there are still many variables at play. Will keep you posted.

Interesting. I certainly hope she is right. While I’m not a huge fan of Lainey’s, I will say one thing – her source has been pretty accurate. She told us about the ‘Engagement’ being filmed in the woods during New Moon. We all had a hissy fit saying she was lying and that didn’t happen. She was right.

She also said that they were shooting scenes in the woods with Bella/Jacob/Edward. Some readers thought she was wrong about that too, but she was right.

Her timing sounds correct from what we’ve been hearing as well! I think that after the Olympics in British Columbia, things will start moving quickly.

Those were different situations. The filming was already in progress and it wasn't hard to figure it out. She just happened to 'see' better the signs. With BD everything is just guessing. Way too much of it. I'm just gonna sit and wait for the officials to say smth, which better be soon, 'cause I'm loosing patience.

i actually like nessie, just wished she didn't come so fast, but then i guess edward's sperms are more alive than rest of his body? LOL
anyway, SM got me thinking it was a boy, i was so looking forward to a little cute edward, damn, i only dislike nessie for some moments, wishing she was that boy in bella's dreams … the green eye boy …
and i am not liking the imprinting, as i don't really want jake in their lives so much, but i guess it's part of the plot to smooth the whole werewolves and vampires' world together … i hope nessie will have a choice, like she still can not take jake if she doesn't want to, when she is older, though, that would be heart breaking for jake, i am already accepting him in book4. That would be cruel to him. But it could be that one can maybe go against this imprinting deal, like jake can marry someone else if he wants .. or imprinting on more than one person? LOL

They'll film two, and back to back, so they can bring them out close together. (I feel it in my gut!!) The sad part is, we won't see the 1st movie until the Summer or Fall of 2011. But on a positive side…we get another year of Twilight madness still. :O) And…other cast movies in between!!! Hurray!!!

I honestly couldn't care less where they film it, I just need to hear that it's being done, and weather it's going to be made into 1 or 2 movies.

On second thought, I wonder where they will film Isle Esme… I need to order my plane tickets so I can go witness the Robward pillow bitting and headboard breaking. Maybe Kristen will need a stand-in!!

nessie has a choice because she will not lose her freedom to choose but jacob lost it because he imprinted on her. So if nessie does not want him he will never be able to move on. i saw a video where SM said that if jacob had imprinted on bella her feelings for edward would not change because she still has her freedom. however jacob no longer has his freedom so he will never be able to move on. Its nessie or no one. In another video she said that leah and jacob were starting to develop some connection before he imprinted but she did not take it there because Nessie and Jacob belong together. She said it has been that way for 5 years video is 2008. So jacob and nessie will definitely be a couple.

IMO, they should film Breaking Dawn in Portland, because when Twilight was filmed there, Forks and LaPush looked more like the real Forks and LaPush, than when they filmed New Moon in Vancouver. idk, i probably sound like an idiot, but i just think that Oregon beaches look more like Washington beaches, more than Vancouver beaches do! wow. im gonna stop now.

aaaand, that fan poster looks A-mazing! Summit should hire the fans to make the trailers and posters…. they turn out better every time!

This is one series that you have to read to really understand it.Really.Yeah, I could see some people getting squeemish about Jacob and Renesmee, but it's fiction,it's not for “kids”and it's in the book. It will be hard, but itCAN be done. With the right people,they can do it.

The way imprinting was explained in the book though was that Jacob wont be in love with her in a creepy way until she's old enough, when it wouldn't be creepy . It would be more a brotherly love. So I think their main issue would be Reneesme at the moment ^^ I don't know how they are going to pull off the aging thing ><

I love Renesmee because she's Edward and Bella's child. She was an unexpected gift something that all the other Cullen couples would have loved a chance to have had and didn't. But through her all of the couples get to enjoy a child, especially Rosie.
