As we previously posted yesterday on director David Slade’s tweets about the Eclipse trailer, he tweeted some more about editing and still doesn’t know when the trailer will be released.

Poor Jacob and his broken rib. Ugh!! What is the hold up on the Eclipse trailer! I’m patient, but for crying out loud, give us a new Eclipse still or something until it’s released. Throw us a bone Summit!

I agree totally. I'm starving for some E/B romance…I loved J/B in New Moon and I love, love, love Jacob in Eclipse & BD (I just love his sarcasm and his sassiness!) However, I am Team Edward, and I feel like they (MR) have not given Edward and Bella time to properly convey the romance from the book. I'm soooo hoping that Eclipse remedies this.

well didnt the newmoon teaser trailer come out during summer? like by JULY???? so that was…..like 4 months before New Moon came out……so…..we should be getting VERY close to receiving a Trailer. I just want it Befoer March starts. now that im counting months and doing math i just realized something…..ECLIPSE IS ONLY…..5 MONTHS AWAY!!!! Thats crazy it feels like New Moon barley came out ….yet that was back in Novmeber…..its January, almost Feburary!!!!! WOW

No, NM teaser trailer came out in MAY, at the VMA's, which was 6 months before the movie

I hope they aren't leaving the trailer late because they've screwed with the story so much, they're afraid we'll go bananas when we see it. There better be a lot of changes made from what i know so far. A LOT OF CHANGES!!!!

I want to see Edward taking care of business in this one like we all know he can!!!

Switzer, like what you had to say, that scene in the truck and later on, Edward is amazing but he did say that he understood, he totally traumatized her when he left and Jacob was there for her, If he had never left Jake and Bella would probable never have gotten that close in the book. So, Love Jacob but Edward and Bella, their romance is it for me

There were MANY changes from the NM script (i'm reading it on yt right now)–for the worse, tho— so im not hopeful for the eclipse “changes” AT ALL. Not at this point.

I just wonder, how bad will it be??? I'd like the trailer to at least feel/see the “atmosphere” of what DS has created.
I think they know they showed too much before NM (way too much, for my taste, cuz i couldnt keep myself from watching any spoilers, except for breakup scene), and are gonna be more restrained w/ releasing Eclipse scenes. And this trailer is either taking longer for technical reasons, or it's just their marketing plan; or both. But i think it's their plan to make us wonder, WTH? Like w/ the leaked script…I'm sure Scummit has this all worked out in their special ads/marketing department. And so far their clever plan is working

That's interesting what you were saying about NM script and also quite un-nerving, surley Eclipse couldn't get any worse than it already seems, can it?! **sniffle sniffle**

Yeah I'm glad I haven't seen too much yet but I would like to see a teaser trailer just so I can prepare myself if it's going to be a disappointment. And also to decide whether or not I need to load my potato gun before going to the cinema.

I know, I'm holding out for the trailer before I hit the despair button (I'm not far off though), then I'll know whether I'm going to like Eclipse or not. But I know that if the B/E relationship isn't dealt with properly I'm really not going to like it.

That's what kept me reading the books after all!

After reading NM script, and seeing for myself how much of it was cut + changed for the movie, it makes me wonder how much will be diluted and destroyed in Eclipse, too I thought, how much worse can it get??

Started reading Twilight AGAIN!

Just reminds me of everything that's missing from Edward on screen. Like when they are in class watching the biology video and you can feel the electricity surging between them. **fans self**

You get some sparks on screen but I want to see the full electrical storm from the books.

When will they release a trailer for Eclipse? It comes out in 5 months and there is no trailer. What is taking so long?
