Eclipse hptwilight Moviefones Twilight Vs. Harry Potter: The Ultimate Smackdown twilight fans edward cullen We previously posted Moviefone’s search for the biggest Twilight fan. Our friends at Moviefone have another poll for best hero between Edward Cullen and Harry Potter!

‘Twilight’ and ‘Harry Potter’ are both fantasy books-turned-movies, and they’ve shared one actor in the form of Mr. Pattinson (who played Cedric in ‘Potter’ and now plays Edward in ‘Twilight’). They have also both achieved cult-like devotion from their rabid fans.

Before the next ‘Potter’ film comes out on Nov. 19, we’re curious to see which movie (and book) series’ fans have the strongest base.

For one thing, we’re looking for the biggest ‘Harry Potter’ fans and biggest ‘Twilight’ fans to submit videos about why they’re the best and craziest representatives for their franchise. Think you have what it takes? Submit your video about why you’re the biggest ‘Harry Potter’ or ‘Twilight’ fan of them all. Winner gets bragging rights and possibly the chance to thumb-wrestle your ‘Potter’ or ‘Twilight’ counterpart.

Also, we’ll be creating regular polls to decide who is the biggest, most passionate fanbase — Potterheads or Twi-hards. Here’s the first question, on the series’ main heroes. Come on, fans, let’s have it out once and for all.

This is really funny I check this site all the time and I also check the Team-Twilight website they both have this posted on their sites. The thing is everyone on this site is saying Harry is the better hero which I agree with, but on Team-Twilight everyone is dissing on Harry and voting for Edward. Come on people tell the true yes Edward is sexier and more romantic, but Harry is the real hero.

yes and we have to be honest HP movies are way too better than twilight not anyone´s fault but MR so they got many fans who knos just the movies and let´s face it the true twihards are the ones who read the books ´cause the movies lack of a lot compared to the book and in hp case the movies are well done just like the books

Have to go with Harry Potter. Yes Twilight is a wonderful romance novel. Harry Potter is a awesome action/adventure novel. Harry saves the world and goes through a lot more than Edward does to “save” Bella. Not to mention JK Rowling was willing to knock off several important characters in her final battle. Stephanie just had them all talk…. yeah it would have been heart breaking to have a vampire or werewolf fall but wouldn’t it have made the story more exciting?! which pretty much leads you back to the fact that it’s a romance novel :]

I also tend to get way more pumped up for HP midnight premiers than Twilight. Final stretch for Harry!! I reread the book last week and I’m ready for the movie! This one is going to make me cry and wish I had a time machine so I could hurry and see part 2 x]

I think Edward is a hero.. he never tried to be one but remember he hunted evil disgusting humans (rapists, murderers..) back when he left the Cullens? I was thinking when I read Twilight when he saved Bella from those guys in Port Angeles I thought there is no way Edward didn’t do anything to stop those monsters from hurting another woman and when I read MS I was like I knew it! I knew he had to stop those men…
We are limited to Bella’s pov in Twilight.. I would love SM to finish writing MS and also I would love a book about Edward during that period of his life when he hunted human trash. He is a hero in my pov… I don’t know if he is a better hero but he’s a hero in my book. But for this poll I think you’re right cause in Twilight we don’t get to know all these details about EC.. so yes Potter wins..:D

I don’t like it when they compare these two I mean they are both different stories. I honestly haven’t been into Harry Potter, but after reading peoples comments, I’m sure Harry is more of a hero. I just dk why they like doing this stuff I think it’s pointless in a way because Twilight is more of a romantic story, which majority of the fans are mostly girls and Harry Potter I would say is mixture of both girls and guys fans. My bf always says HP is better than Twilight, but I tell him well it depends he may hate it because it’s romantic, but us girls we are more of the romantic people compared to guys. HP on the other hand is adventure type of story with more action into it which I would think it would fit more into a guys interest.

i agree that Harry is a better hero, he saved like the world and Edward only saved Bella. Neither of them are very likeable thou in my opinion but Edward is deffo sexier so.. im hoping Eddy wins. But im not gonna vote cause these kind of polls are really lame.

awh I know that but when I saw hp movies I said this movies are great I want to read the books and yeah there are a lot of things out of the movies but with twlight it was like you really have to read the book to really get it the movie doesn´t push you to read but thanks god we have the books and movies to try to resemmble them so we can enjoy
