MTV Interview With Kristen Stewart On The Directors Approached For ‘Breaking Dawn’!

Kristen Stewart spoke with MTV recentlly while promoting her new film The Runaways Dakota Fanning. MTV asked her about the big name directors who have been approached for Breaking Dawn.

While any directorial decision will reportedly have to wait until Melissa Rosenberg hands in a detailed draft for the script — and there is still no word about if “Breaking Dawn” will be split into two separate films — Stewart professed her excitement about any of the three directors helming the movie.

“I think it’s awesome,” she said. “I think it’s so cool that they’re reaching. I think any one of those people would be great.”

Previously, Pattinson told us that Van Sant would be the perfect pick because of the setting and the content of many of his previous films — which include “Good Will Hunting,” “My Own Private Idaho” and “Elephant.”

“He shoots everything in Portland. He’s good at making it look beautiful,” Pattinson said, adding of “Breaking Dawn,” “It’s all about teenage love and obsessions. I think Gus Van Sant would be great.”

No, we were lulling it around last week . TD and I were dicussing it and a few others. I don't think you were in at that time. Anyway- since our coven sorta went global.with 5 different gals wanting to be in it,we decided to change it to Twisters===twi-sisters. That way all of us in here are Twisters. United across the globe.Could have been one of the RL days or when you were training that gal, i don't remember. But we didn't do it overnight. Just made it one everyone seemed to like so one by one we stuck in on our names. It's growing. LOL It just hit me like a ton of bricks one evening. Sort of like a Rob moment. LOL You, my darling are a very special Twister to me.

yeah, I watched comic con 2009 the other day and realized that he did change a little… his answers were more adult like, like hes more serious when he answers them…. but maybe thats just me… still they both made me smile when you see how they looked at each other soooo many times,couldnt take their eyes of one another, and the kristen saying to the question what do they look forward to do in the movies *I cant wait to actually get pregnant, lol, laughed soo hard* …which rob answered the c section and said cant wait, which of course makes it funnier again because she says to him, no you cant….lol… enough, babbling again….

I wish that they would have continued to use some of the previous music with the other composers, like I remember an interview with the guy who did NM's (can't remember his name at the moment), and he said that he would use leitmotifs from the first one, but I noticed no similarity btwn the 2. I guess they would have to pay Carter Burwell royalties if they were similar so they go with completely different ones. Maybe he will come back for BD. *crosses fingers*

lol thanks! I love your avi as well btw! I have had a few moments where I wanted to change it, just to switch it up but then I never have the heart to lol. Flightless bird, American mouth has been a favorite song of mine since I got the Iron and Wine album almost a year before I saw twilight so I was stoked when it was in the scene. It was so perfect for the scene and portrayed the bitter sweetness of their relationship perfectly.

Haha I get that. I have spotlight as my ringtone, and whenever it rings ppl can def tell I'm a twilight fan ahaha. Though it does sometimes scare the bejesus out of me since it goes right into the chorus ahaha.

I sure would love it. I wondered about Bella's Lullaby. Carter Burwell wrote it,so it needs to carry through the saga. How would they do that. I don't know how they deal with things like that. But he put the feeling in Twilight,for sure. *crosses fingers with AYFB*

I agree! Everyone I know who has seen Twilight feels like that scene is perfect with our lovely Edward and Bella, the feel, the look and of course, the song! I have this vision of when I get married that I want to re-create the “Prom Scene” for out first dance!!! haha BTW…I am not engaged and I am single but I think about it all the time! =)

I could see where that would scare you! Sometimes when my iPod is on shuffle and Spotlight comes on and I get a little startled! But that's my 2nd fave part of Twilight…gotta love Edward there!
