MTV Talks to Hayley Williams of Paramore at the People’s Choice Awards

My favorite band Paramore was in the house last night at the People’s Choice Awards. Paramore’s leading lady Hayley Williams spoke briefly with MTV about being nominated in the category for ‘Favorite Rock Band’, and about not being on the New Moon soundtrack.

“It feels amazing to be here,” Paramore’s Hayley Williams told us, looking up and down the carpet moments before going inside to vie for a Favorite Rock Band award. “I love this awards show, and I feel really honored to be here.

“I’m not getting nervous as much,” the 21-year-old beauty said of her awards-show composure as she heads into her sixth year with the band. “I get anxious, because I’m definitely not used to [getting nominated for things]. And I don’t think I ever want to get used to it.”

I love love love Hayley, and I’m happy her hair is fire red again. Paramore did indeed beat out Muse and won the award for “Favorite Rock Band.”

Paramore is one of my favorite bands ever. They're music is just so touching and perfect that it just can't get any better.

Paramore is awesome. They deserve to win this award. I love the ones who aren't use to the fame and wouldn't mind never getting use to it. Is doing it only because they love the work. Which is the biggest reasons I adore Kristen Stewart!! And Hayley is the sweet rocker chick…love it!!!

OME I adore Paramore i hav every single one of their albums and i love hayley- she's so down to earth and modest and she just rocks i love her and josh farro ooh lalalalala i really hope they do a song 4 eclipse i love them to pieces they have my backing 100% and im singin hallelujah by them 4 a karaoke party in Feb ooh lalalala i so hope i pull off the high notes cuz hayley has an AMAZING voice

Hmmm… no offence to any 'Paramore' fans but I really don't see whats so great about the band. I mean, they're not bad but I don't think they're as good as everyone claims them to be. SORRY! DON'T SHOOT ME!!!

Anyways, I think Green Day should of TOTALLY won.
But whatevz *shrugs*
