    I'm just as excited as all of you. I truly am. I'm still processing it. But, it looks like…

    Twilight was blue.
    New Moon was gold.
    Eclipse…is green. Or gray. Maybe both. I'm not sure.
    Either way…new movie, new tint.

    Looks amazing though. I never really minded the tint. I've always kind of liked it.

    OMG! THAT WAS AMAZING! I had goosebumps and chillings running through my body the entire time! Wow, just wow. I'm really excited for the fight scene. It's wasn't my favourite scene in the book because we had no idea what was going on, but now we get to actually see the action!

    Agree with practically everything you said. About the ring, I looked it up:

    “The face was a long oval, set with slanting rows of glittering round stoones. The band was gold — delicate and narrow. The gold made a fragile web around the diamonds.”

    I remember whenever I read this I would think, I can't picture it. Is it pave (imagine an accent on that last “e”)? So maybe the ring is accurate. Even so, many times when they do things “true to the book” it doesn't translate that well, but when they do things that are new (Cullens in the kitchen, coming out of the water, knocking over the tree) they are actually better than the were. Sooooo . . . my reaction when I saw that ring was akin to what I felt when I saw Aidan's first ring to Carrie in SATC — is she really wearing that forever? I think if that is what it was meant to look like, they should have changed it.

    I'm impressed you could hit pause that fast. It's such a quick glimpse I couldn't freeze it. Oh I so hope they get the romance right this time.

    My second take on the trailer is pessimistic — I love it but along the lines of what you said — the first trailer was about the relationship and was tepid/boring. This trailer is about the fight stuff and rocks. I always assumed DS would be better with the fight stuff. NM totally screwed up the romance (even given the plot of the book) and I was worried the same would happen here. I'm more excited for the movie after this trailer but the fact remains if they don't get E/B right it won't be worth seeing multiple times.

    Really, I have become almost as much of a Rob fan as a twilighter (which from your screen name I'm guessing you can relate to). I'm psyched for Eclipse but if I could choose between going to see Eclipse and Bel Ami tomorrow I'm not sure which way I'd go . . .

    and you know what, I thought we'd have to wait till oprah was on at 6pm US TIME so i thought we'd have top wait till like 11pm!

    and im too weak to not watch it WELL DONE! you have self-control! I cant even say I wont watch leaked scenes because I know I will…im so bad aha :)

    ahhh man I didnt think nm was cheesy! well, there were cheesy parts in it, random lines and stuff. 'its time its time' comes to mind :/
    but you're right, it feels like a VAMPIRE and WEREWOLF film, the action looks amazing! and it looks like he's got the romance down as well!
    Its all dark and gothic and ahhhhhhh im so happy with it :D

    Oh I am a total Rob fan, but not so much as because he plays Edward. Like I find this cool that he plays the role of Edward but there is SOOO much to Rob himself which I get tiny obsessive about. hah! It's why I have my screen name as it is. hehe He is just unique and interesting. Peeks my curiosity. haha I would go see BOTH. I still have not seen Little Ashes but it is not rentable in Blockbusters. I did not care for Haunted Airman though Rob still look cute in it. I still want to see How to Be. Yeah I caught that misspell. haha ;)
